Excellent
I bought it for my son that plays in a band at school and his teacher said that this Clarinet was very good. His so happy with it. Great instrument. For the price.

Good for the price
Just received it today and it works. This is good for a beginner. I bought it for me daughter to play in beginner band. It came with a Reed, strap for the case, tool, cork grease, and cleaning cloth. I hope she gets good use of this instrument! I will update this comment if needed but so far so good!

Great customer service!
After 3 months of use, the A and F notes both sound flat. Had the band instructor test it with the same results. I was warned about buying a cheap clarinet - I should have listened.Update: After reading my review the company contacted and replaced the clarinet. Great customer service and the new clarinet is working flawlessly.

Good, Definitely easier to make a sound and blow into.
I bought this clarinet because it describes basically it as easy to blow through. My beginner clarinetist has complained that my 1995 Leblanc $1000 clarinet was too hard to blow through after trying many reeds and mouthpieces. After playing my Leblanc, my buffet E11 and this one side by side it is my least favorite.Pros:1. Nice wood like texture.2. Shiny! I like shiny. Lol3. Keys have a nice response.4. Sound is good. Doesn’t sound super cheap.5. Easy to put breath through.6. Nice case, cradles clarinet nicely. I think it would work just as well as a hard case.7. Ultimately a good clarinet for a beginner in my opinion.8. I could not see or feel any major leaks in pads. Keys seemed fairly sturdy.Cons:1. Hardest time starting in upper register between the three clarinets. I think because it was so easy to play in the first place you had to put more breath through it to go to the second register when you were used to putting less breath through it in the lower register.2. Pinky keys are not as close to the body of the clarinet. And therefore harder to move pinkies around for more technical playing. Maybe because I was comparing it to the two other clarinets my pinkies were just used to the keys being closer to the body. And I don’t know how it would affect a beginner if it would be harder or easier for them now and in the long term getting another clarinet where the keys are going to be closer if it would be any easier or harder. Please see pictures:The picture is of all three clarinets that I tried. On the left-hand side is the E11 Buffet The middle one is the Leblanc. And the right one is the Lexington being reviewed.

The mouthpiece is ok. Should buy a betterone, and a better ligature. I have beenlearning to play clarinet from MichelleAnderson... To myself, she is the bestteacher on YouTube... Good luck...

Excellent value, excellent product
Love it! My son was very pleased with the instrument and mentioned how much better it sounded than past instruments he had previously. He was especially fond of the case it came in. I would definitely purchase again.

Great for a student and beginners like me!
It sounds great! As soon as I practice it will sound even better! It comes with the gel to help it come on and off more easily. It comes with a reed and everything a student will need to start playing that day! I love the case and straps if you don’t want to carry it by hand. 5 stars 😀
