Lovely quality, fabulous flavour.
Nice! I love black beans, and I love to buy organic where possible, and best of all I love to be able to cook a black bean recipe as an impromptu decision without having to cook them up first.The quality is there in these decent sized jars, they're cooked to perfection and not soggy or bullet-like, and their flavour is fabulous.There's also something lovely about opening a jar instead of a tin. Yes, I admire the recycle or re-use glass packaging!A store cupboard essential and a good price for a ready-to-use bean protein, ready to go with your favourite recipes!

Beans sourced from China!
As much as I would like to write a positive review, I am very disappointed that Biona confirmed to me in an email that the beans are sourced from China. How can anyone trust food from China - I do not want to take any chances. Therefore it is only one star.I also noticed that nearly all dried beans on Amazon are from China, can Europe not grow beans any more?

Tasty beans that labelled ORGANIC. Two most important things.Not too soft and not too hard. Just perfect texture.The only drawback is its price in comparison to similar products by different brands.When I am about to run off the current stock in the cupboard, I will probably reorder it.
