The main problem is not that the sizing is off by about 2 sizes (I am a size 7 and I fit the size chart for size 7 but I got both 6 and 7. 7 was TOO BIG. Shank went past my heel. I had to cut a bit of the shank of the 6 for it to really fit ) The main problem, well, is that these are basically ornaments not meant for dancing. I bought these as an emergency and found these are not professional; the shanks are made of basically cardboard (which crack in ill quality when I'm breaking into the shank) and the ribbon is frayed and sewed in the wrong place on the shoe. my right foot's box was not even parallel to the ground and made it really hard to stay on top of the box. Furthermore, the material is too long at the back of heel, and gets scrunched up when on pointe. The pair I got was also fairly worn like someone had tried it on before. Bought these for one occasion, and will be wearing them only once.

They fit well but hurt the bottom of my feet a bit but I guess it takes a bit to settle. Padding is recommended. Other than that the shoes are well made and shiny with the lace ribbion attached.

Bought these shoes on a whim. They are great if you're into a hard shank. I'm a 7.5 in regular shoes and my pointe shoes are 8.5. I bought these in a 9. BAD idea. They were like a whole size too large. Luckily they fit my friend so I could pass them off.

Seems like a decent shoe, but we ordered a size 7 M and received a size 10 W. Not sure why this happened, when a wide width isn't even offered in the size choices.

Fit perfectly and incredibly comfortable for pointe shoes! :) would definitely buy again
