while not a "Bench Rest" bi-pod - it's very moveable/adjustable for in the field (tracking, uneven terrain), with tension adjustment and quick release. Only complaint - if it could be 1 inch shorter. But almost all are either 5-9" and 9-13" , ect, ect. (the -1 star)Once I got use to it off a bench, & with rear bag, I was holding good groups - Tip >with the ski feet, take a padded carpet square if shooting off a slick bench. The ski feet are good for the field,-dirt & snow - Now if your shooting off rock or a pick up bed - U may want that carpet square. Not only for pre-load, but harmonics back to the gun, it did make a difference.

Having owned several bipods over the years, including another Versa as well as Harris models, I purchased this model for its features and ease of use. The foot base design is optimum for field use as well as target work. My earlier Versa did not have the multi-axis adjustments and locks that this model features and I consider essential for any applications. While priced higher than some competitive models, this Versa offers the best value in features. The design is a standard for several military sniper rigs, and that in itself says a lot for its uitility.

The bi-pod works great with the needed holder, but the quality seems to be a bit low. It is made in China, which is not always bad, but this time the workmanship of the components is not as good as I would expect for an items at this price point..

This thing is tuff! Needed a bipod for a heavy rifle, a 26 pound 50 cal to exact, so a lot to ask of a pod. The versa pod gives a very stable platform to shoot from. All in all a awesome bipod and excellent seller, would highly recommend.
