Easy to install.

I was having problems with my sled over heating on hard pack. I was told I needed one of these. Purchased it from amazon and had a shop install it (if I had a heated shop I'm sure I could have handled the job myself).First outing I had them, I found myself in low snow conditions and over heating. I turned the machine around, put down the scratchers, and headed back up and the engine cooled back down pretty quickly.

I chose 4 stars as I haven't used them much yet, but so far they are amazing. My 2014 Renegade 800 was about to over heat, as I was driving on very hard packed snow/ice- Put these down and within 1/2 mile it was back down to normal temps. Easy to install and when not in use they tuck away nicely

Essy to install on my machine because the holes were already there stock. And I KNOW I should have had scratchers for years but i really felt stupid that i didnt when I realized how well they were orking to keep my machine cool. Never to old to learn but possibley you can be too cheap to learn.

These fit my 2009 MXZ 800 ....was a Pain in the AZZ putting them on. Idlers need to be shifted forward. Rivets need to be drilled out (Skidoo is getting to cheap to use nuts and bolts anymore) and holes need to be drilled to accommodate these scratchers. I needed to cut off a piece of the mounting nut so that it wouldn't rub against the idler wheel. If you have a skidoo plan o spending some time putting these on.

Never used ice scratchers before , Icy condition gave us little lubrication 2 1/2 inch paddles , took care of overheating issues Ski Doo Summit - Freeride highly recommend this type

These worked great on my sleds and saved me from over heating on icy trails. The scratchers showed up on time and in good condition.
