Niice collar
I have been using this style of collar on my dogs for decades. I once had a pup attacked and the only thing that saved his life was his good leather collar. This is good quality leather and craftsmanship.

Large dog Rolled Leather Collar
A rolled leather collar is a much better choice for a curley-haired, mixed breed dog. And this brown leather collar is also strong enough for 65 pounds of high energy and best of all, Freddy looks more handsome in leather than in plastic. Good choice

Nice collar with a few modifications
This is a really well-made product. I only gave it four stars because they didn't offer the size I needed for my dog.I originally bought this for a new dog, and guessed at his neck size. When the collar came, it was too large for him. I was planning on returning it and ordering a smaller size, but this company didn't offer anything in the size I needed. So, instead, I did a quick DIY fix. I started at the end with the holes and without the buckle, and I cut the thread that sews this together. I used some needle nose pliers and pulled the threading out until the rolled area was the correct length for my dog's neck. The padding inside the rolled portion was a folded piece of leather, and I trimmed that down to the correct length, and then strung the thread onto a large repair needle (like the ones shown here: Home Repair Needles ). There were two thread ends, on either side of the rolled portion, and I used the previous stitching holes to reclose the rolled section, taking both thread ends through each hole. I finished with a couple of surgeon knots, trimmed the threads and tucked them into the rolled section with the tip of the needle. Then, I just trimmed off the end of the leather color to leave a strap that is long enough to buckle, and poked a hole through with the tip of my scissors. It would have been better to use a leather punch, but I had to make due.I did cut the end strap a little shorter than I should have, but everything stays closed just fine and it has that nice classic rolled leather look I like for a dog collar. I made all of these changes about three weeks ago, and he has worn the collar continuously with no issues since then. Hope this little tutorial helps someone else having trouble finding a collar that fits.

I was very happy with his collar
I was very happy with his collar. Not heavy weight leather, but actually very nice being light enough so it has been very comfortable and light as air for goldendoodle who is about 28 lbs. It has held up well and looks very nice on. The rolled leather has been excellent to keep from matting dogs hair. I thought I had read sizing info here at this site and comments on two other sites (manufacturer and large onlibe pet supply site), and was concerned it might be too small as I read different reviews, but it was bigger than I thought. My understanding was that the length of collar was the last hole out of 4 holes (holes being set 1 inch apart). My dogs neck was 13 inches. A 14 inch collar based on my understanding would provide first hole at 11, 12, 13, and last hole 14. A 16 inch would have holes at 13, 14, 15, last 16. I ordered a 14 inch but unfortunately it is on the smallest, first hole and still is very loose, so we do not use it to walk her or attach the leash. This collar is just used for her tags. Which is fine as being an occasional puller - dispite my best efforts to control the pup - the thin rolled collar would cut into her neck and esophagus when she sometimes pulls. It's such a beautiful collar so we like it but the manufacturer could do customers a big favor and provide better service to customers by photographing each collar size next to a ruler so we can make a better decision when ordering. It's quite confusing trying to order, even when going to manufacturers site and big online pet supply site for sizing info. All in all I'm happy with purchase and the price per quality was good, but another star would have been added if the sizing was correct/clearer.

Excellent Coller
Holds up well, good leather. Rolled for comfort, no complaints from the dog. Have bought more than one.

Very thin for a rolled leather collar
This collar is very thin, the metal clasp doesn’t look very strong. I will try another brand next time. I thought I was buying the coastal brand because that is what I searched. Nope!

A superb dog collar
We have an Airedale with a tight, curly coat that mats easily. The rounded design of this collar truly minimizes the matting. We've bought collars from this same company in the past. On occasion they've lasted the entire life span of our dog. If you're looking for a rolled dog collar, this one will never disappoint.

Well made leather collar
I bought two of these, one for each of my Aussies. These collars are very sturdy and made of good thick leather. The leather itself is very soft and I like the rolled edge because of them having long hair. I'm very happy with my purchase.

It’s okay. Not the best value but decent.
It’s decent. Trouble I am having is clipping a leash to this collar. The hardware to clip to is so small that it’s difficult to attach. Not impossible, just a bit annoying to do.

Good looking affordable collar
Good looking collar and good quality leather. Size was as expected. I prefer rolled leather for a dog collar rather than the wide strap especially for a longer hair coat

Very good quality collar!
I've had a few of these collars over the years, and this one is what I needed to replace a too small one that broke prematurely. Was hoping for a 1" x 20" collar, but the 22" one done up all the way has been ok.

Strong, well made attractive collar
My favorite style dog collar. New puppy will grow into this size. This is the best!! Doesn’t flatten the hair around the neck like flat collars and blends into the dogs hair so it’s there if needed but not the main thing you see.
