A500 A518 A618 46RE 47RE 48RE Transmission Governor Pressure Solenoid New OEM 1996 Up

This one fit great in my 2000 dakota. The thing is though, I purchased two. The first one I put in and it made my transmission go into limp mode. Took my truck to a trans shop that wanted to replace these even though I had no codes popping up which was odd. I took it home, redid the job... and works great the last six months. So I got a DOA one... Probly doesnt happen often but it did happen to me and caused me to drop my pan a total of five times trying to trouble shoot and fix the issue. Maybe I should of stuck with oem parts. I dont know. Have had no issues though since. Just a pain as you don't know which part is doa as you replace the governor and regulator at the same time.

Not sure if the first part was bad but I am happy they will send me another part and will refund some of the money . will have to see if they do what they say will update when i see the new part for my 2003 dodge 3500 dully.

Excellent quality part. Always replace both the solenoid and the sensor together. Also make sure to replace filter at the same time. Replacing the two mentioned parts will solve the stuck in first gear problem on 44re a500 tranny. You do not need to remove exhaust to get the pan off as some say. Total job is about 45 minutes if you know what you are doing

Great product. My transmission works better than new after installing. No more slipping. Transmission shifts solid after installing. Tranny shop wanted thousands to rebuild and I decided to give this a shot and I am so glad I did. I installed the govenor and Borg Warner pressure switch at the same time.

Much beefier than the original solenoid in my dakota. Actually a larger size and at first I thought it was the wrong part but it does fit and is probably what dodge should have used from the start. Fixed my shift issue and havent had any problems since install about a month ago

Was not as positive an electrical fit as I thought it should be. Due to its location, and possible replacement, I could only give it two stars.Was a different size than the one it replaces. No fit issues but ?.The one I received does not look exactly like the picture.
