Russian tea glass holders are an essential part of Russian life. This hand made Russian filigree holder is richly plated with 24Kt gold over copper. The name of the pattern is "Golden Sunshine". It was crafted in the artisan village of Mstera, a region in Russia also renown for its fine miniature painting as well as intricate lacework. In fact, Russian filigree is reminiscent of lace work known popularly as "bobbin lace." A Russian-made banded standard glass is included. About 5" tall.
