Very easy to assemble. Doesn't fit perfect. This is not a bad thing just interesting. It allows for a little play. If you put it outside it is NOT weather proof. There are spaces between the wood and it will not keep rain out. The roof has a cheap plastic piece which will work but the sides and the entrance will let rain in no problem if it splashes up from the ground or comes in sideways. I didn't mind spending 156$ but I think it's a bit pricey considering the 'high quality pine' it comes with. It's a simple construction and I'm not impressed. Does it work, yes, is it decent, yes, does it need Thompkins water seal, yes. You will need to put in time to make this better than what you get especially if you get it for outside. For inside, slap it together and walk away.After purchasing it and considering the product, I would not recommend this for purchase for outside. For inside it's good.

I'm very grateful of this on Amazon! While shopping for what we needed, this is the only one that came close to meeting what we were looking for an indoor den with a flat roof top so it can be like a multi level bed to reach our windows so the dog can have a view to stimulate his senses inside to prevent behavioral problems caused by boredom. Thankful for the fast shipping and ups delivering to on top of 6 flights of stairs! I like that the wood is untreated for indoor use so we are not breathing in toxic chemocal perservatives. When opening the box, the business people offering the gloves for assembley was an extra sweet and considerate gesture. We have a small apartment, so to save space while assembling, I wish I opened the box from the floor board side so I would have taken only 2/3 of our floor space instead of when opening the roof side first, since there was no vertical wall space in the room to lean the roof on. I wish there was an option for a flat roof, but the slant is very slight so he can still lay on it flat enough. I wish the construction of the sides into the floor or frame was a bit more snug fit, the 1/4th inch loose gaps cause minimal sliding but enough to deter a sensitive dog from trusting in the structural safety and I know long term, that space space gap is just going to collect dirt and hair which will be harder to clean than if the gap wasn't there in the first place. There was only one warped board, which can happen from too little or too many tight nail guns, Im guessing on this case it could have used one more but that's really just aesthetic which is hidden unfaced in a corner anyway. The instructions could have been a bit more specific to make assembley faster, I was a bit puzzled at first but figured it out in less than 15 minutes and used the packing cardboard, styrofoam, and wrap materials as padding to soften his laying surfaces. The only other choices somewhat like this were made of overpriced plastic with bad reviews or based in fabric, which isn't suitable for a larger breed fluffy dog. This was an important investment for us, and we appreciate the overall quality and considerate design to be conveinant for us. A "simple" wooden box den takes a lot of thoughtful time and energy to create correctly and we have no doubt we are benefiting daily from use of this uplifting upgrade.Edit* so now Amazon is showing us features with height Changeable wheels and a hinge leverage hardware top with positive reviews. I will order from the petsfit next time for Another room, slightly more expensive and the roof looks more though it's worth while to not scratch the floor if we have to shuffle furniture around.

I was pleasantly surprised with your easy this dog house was to assemble. The instructions have photos but we're a little confusing. But thru a little trial and error, we figured it out. So I decided to take a video of how easy it was to put together. I love that the top cashed right off so that you can clean it when needed. The wood is coated with eurothayne and the top is a plastic laminate. I'm happy with this dog house and it's large enough to hold two of my medium sized dogs.

Perfect for my pup!Bought this house for my 4 month old German Shepherd puppy to chill in the morning. Very easy to put together. I needed my husband just to help me lift the parts, but assembling it literally took me less than 10 mins. It only got 5 pieces and no tools needed. They also throw in some gloves to protect your hands when building it. The wood is nice looking and the size is perfect for my growing puppy.

Great little dog house. Seems sturdy. However, my husband said it arrived broken. He said he had to fix it. Not sure if it was broken during shipping. That's the reason for the 4 stars. He said it wouldn't have taken him a couple minutes to put it together if he wouldn't have had to fix it first. He had it put together when I got home from work.

The bottom does not secure inside the dog house. I bought two and after 4-5 weeks, the floors were broken because they would not stay in place and the weight of the dog broke them when they were displaced. The dog house folds up on itself when the floor is not in place.I would not recommend.

Very easy to assemble. waterproof. It is a good dog rest area in the yard.

I like how easy it is to put together, only four steps no tools needed. I bought it for my dog. I don’t like that is so fragile and lies flat on the ground and the bottom has cracks very thin everything. My dog house also came broken in a few places. the price wasn’t bad but the product is not worth it.
