the knives are not sharp.

I bought these and they arrived blunt. That didn't bother me so much as i could sharpen them myself. My husband tried on 3 different sharpeners and they would not sharpen. I gave them a quick wash and dry and out them in my drawer. Went for a knife this morning and they have got rusty spots all over the blades less than 24 hours after receiving them. I saw these on the jean patrique website and they had great reviews. Full price was 29.99 and I got them from here for 19.99 thought I was getting a bargain. I wouldnt take another set of these knives if I was offered them for free. Please dont waste your money. I wish I had listened to the bad reviews on here before I bought them, but I thought the good reviews out weighed the bad. In my opinion I'm not sure what knife set the 5 star reviews have received but it cant possibly be the knives in the picture. I would happily let my toddler use these for cutting play dough (even she may struggle and complain)

Great set of knives

Very quick delivery. Love the knives especially as they were a little less than half price. Not sure I’d have paid full price but I am very happy with the price I did pay. They sit comfortably in the hand and feel nice to use.

do you have to have these sharpened when you first get them as mine are not as I would have expected

Good knives, the product has to be sharpened once in 2-3 weeks at least for ensuring a daily use. It stains quickly unless it is dried properly. I am using the set for a few months and happy with the product.

These knives look good and feel pretty balanced in my small hands, BUT don't expect them to be sharp. Out of the 3 Santoku knives in this collection the ONLY one that FELT sharp is the smallest. The other 2 are more dull than a santoku I've owned for 15 yrs and had not honed or sharpened since it was purchased due to my lack of knowledge and skill to do either.The same can be said for another JP 6 inch chef knife I purchased and was delivered today as well. I don't know if it's due to buying them from Amazon and perhaps they are seconds versus buying directly from the company in England or not. I'm debating on keeping these and having a friend sharpen them that is very proficient in knife sharpening because I do like how they feel in my hand or just returning them and buying More Global knives.I'm giving 2 stars for their balance and how they feel in my hand.

Knives aren't very sharp out of the packaging. The weight and handle design and feel are great.

I just got them this month and they are rusting! And they wont refund me!
