Lemme tell y'all somethin' 'bout this potion
Dry hands during winter. Saw this potion on the interwebs. I liked the purdy girls smiling in the ad. So I bought me some. Just one bottle. Says on it, "The Gambler." Claims to be, "body lotion." To me, I ain't never put on no "body lotion" and prolly never will cuz I don't wanna smell all purdy and flowery out on the trail. But don't get me wrong, now. I ain't 'posed to no purdy smells on them girls in town who help a tired ol' cowboy relax after pokin' them steers all summer long. But on me? Naw. I don't need no perfume. So, comes along this bottle of potion, all togged up real nice inside a burlap sack, delivered real quick like. I ain't no book learner, but I can read on that label it says, "bourbon, tobacco, a hint of leather." Well, what have we here? I don't know whether them potion mixers are fessin' up to their own sins, or if they just declarin' what's what in the potion. So, I pumps a little dab on my dry ol' hands. Then I rubs my hands together, like so. First smell is sorta like plain ol' soap. The kind my mammy used once t'week for her weekly ablutions. Kinda waxy smell. Well, I wasn't too pleased at first. I figger them potion mixers must have been consumin' bourbon and backy instead of sharin' them odors with us good folk usin' their product. Oh well, don't matter about smell cuz, let me tell you, that dab fixed my dry hands right quick. Sure did. Yes, sir. My hands went from dry and achy to smooth as a newborn's bottom just like that. So, I went about my business and didn't give it another thought. Well, to be honest, I was a little miffed about that soapy smell as I was expectin' sumpin diff'rnt. So, any ways. There I was, just tendin' to my chores, I start thinkin', "Where is that surly swaggery smell of whiskey and fine Virginia dip snuff comin' from?" Could it be ...? I smelt my hands. Well, strap me to an axle and call me shocked!! Sure 'nuff!! My hands are smellin' like the inside of my dear pappy's wardrobe!! No more soapy smell. Instead, my hands smell like ... like ... how to describe? Like ... bourbon and leather!! Well, I'll be danged! So, I am kinda hard headed, and I ain't got much book learnin'. But now there's one thing I know: Don't worry too much how this potion smells on first contact. I gotta be patient. I gotta let this potion work it magic , take away all that roughness, and then a couple minutes later, poof! A miracle!! Smooth hands with a nice, warm, manly smell left behind. So, don't let your dander up at first with this potion. Let it soak and do it's job, cure your chapped skin. After a minute or two, after all that hard work is done, it'll relax on your skin like a cold tumbler of fine whiskey on a hot afternoon, leavin' a subtle but distinctive scent behind that'll make you long for home, hearth, and days gone by.Thanks for listenin' to my story. Buy you some. I think you'll like it.So long!!

Better than expected, but too pricey.
I usually don't leave reviews for products I purchase. If they're good, I don't feel the need to tell the world, and if they're bad I just want to forget about it. After reading some of the reviews others had left for this product I feel a tad compelled to set a few things straight, based on my personal experience with the product now.1. Less is more... This lotion has a strong smell, and it will stick with you nearly all day. That being said, this lotion isn't anything like your typical store bought lotion. You need to figure out the areas of your body that need it most and only stick to those spots. Applying too much at once leaves what others have described as a "chemical smell". I have found a little bit goes a long way, and leaves a pleasant scent for most of the day. If you just open the bottle to take a whiff, it will come off as a sort of chemical scent, but trust me, using a little bit in key areas, and you will likely enjoy it.2. If you are planning on buying this lotion because they list bourbon as one of the scents, think again. The tobacco leaf and leather scents dominate, to the point I don't even smell any form of bourbon in this lotion. I was looking for a lotion to go with a bourbon soap I bought, and quickly realized it pairs much better with the tobacco leaf and leather soap I have instead, so small upside to a downside lol. Also, as the day goes on (like 5 hours after application), the smell of almond oil will begin slowly taking over, so keep that in mind.3. Some people have claimed their lotion was too watery. That can happen to lotion that has been heated for a period of time. I wouldn't necessarily hold it against the company on that, considering they claim each lotion is small batch made. Could have been a bad batch? It easily could have become heated during shipping too. I guess it's the gamble you take (hehe). For me, it wasn't watery, and I had it shipped during a week of high temps.4. I can't give this product 5 stars even though I think it's pretty good. The price is just too much for how little you get. I managed to snag a bottle when it was on sale, but with a normal asking price of $22/bottle, you can find similar quality for less. It's good lotion in my opinion, just not good enough to justify the cost. This almost functions as cologne with how the scent stays with you nearly all day, so I suppose if you treat it more as cologne it wouldn't be too bad for the price.

This what a man should smell like
I received my package yesterday and unfortunately the top was cracked and it leaked everywhere. It was in a plastic envelope so itās was contained (I will get back to why I mentioned this in a second). After noticing the damage I saw a slip of paper that said to contact outlaw with any issues.I sent an email to Outlaw and within 10mi of receiving my email they created a shipment for a replacement. Absolutely terrific customer service! Now for why I am glad this was contained in the package. This stuff smells so good I have been scooping it out of the package for 2 days because I like the smell that much. It smells like something that could beat Chuck Norrisās sense of smell into submission in a good way. It really is the what a man should smell like. A manly man, like a cowboy hat, flannel wearing dude with a jaw line that could cut leather Kind of man.I will definitely buy more but from outlaw directly. Mainly because itās $6 cheaper on their website. I already ordered the soap and solid cologne. Best of all my wife loves it. On another note it hydrates very well and is not oily (this is usually a big problem with mens lotion).I hope this helps someone make an informed decision.
