For the price, the eight-sided tam with gold, metallic bullion is well constructed and matches doctoral regalia well. The item's pictures could have been more distinct because I did not inspect the item until graduation. (When will I learn to inspect packages?!) Anyway, the tam fit snugly -- an adjustable velcro strip could have improved this otherwise well-made item.

Cheap looking, but can work in a pinch!

I paid 10 extra,to have it delivered on Friday, it was 3 day late. The post office lost it. The cap was to be used Fri by my son Dean Dr. Tony , He lost, his cap. He said the cap looks good. And he will use it later this year
