Creative Haven Animal Mosaics Coloring Book: Relaxing Illustrations for Adult Colorists (Adult Coloring Books: Animals)

Be sure to examine all pages when you receive this, as my copy had printer's ink splotches on two pages. That made it unsuitable for the gift I was planning to make. Otherwise, five stars. It is a pretty book full of designs that aren't too hard for kids or their parents who are just rediscovering the joys and relaxation of coloring to take away stress. These color up quickly, so you might enjoy copying your favorites on card stock paper on your printer so you can experiment with colors and blending, which is shown on the cover's blue sky tiles. My favorite feature of most of the Dover Creative Haven books is the design being on only one side, so if your markers show thru to the back side you have not ruined a back side design. And the pages are perforated for easy removal, allowing more than one person to color from the same book at the same time. Remove a page and make enough copies for all attendees then compare the different outcomes at the end of your session!

This book has been out for a few years.honestly it's been sitting at the bottom of my giant pile of coloring books and I didn't really pay much attention to it.i got bored and just grabbed it from the bottom of the pile to finally see what it was about and I was pleasantly surprised. This is actually a beautiful book.the animal prints are in a mosaic or tile like pattern it reminds alot of stained glass.the spaces are large and easy to color.they also are easy to embellish.which is something I've been wanted to practice for awhile.the large spaces in this book make it easy to make patterns and make them look great.

I'm a huge fan of Floral Mosaics so I couldn't wait to get this coloring book as well. I wasn't disappointed. There is a lot of space to blend colors which is what I like to do best. The images are well-drawn and even ones I wouldn't normally expect to like like the hippos are adorable. I look forward to coloring.

I have started quite a collection of these coloring books! Creative Haven are by far my favorite. They come quickly in the mail are always perfect.The thick one-sided pages are perfect for marker, gel pens, or colored pencils! They are a perfect evening relaxation hobby for me! combined it wit ha warm cup of coffee, tea, or hot cocoa for a wonderful evening! =DThe Mosaics one has larger (but still detailed) spaces for coloring. I often love these designs over the more intricate ones.

Like the book, just wish there were a few more images and something that would be a bit more colorful. A camel in the desert doesn't come across as something with a lot of color. Do enjoy coloring them with watercolor pencils, being able to blend the colors gives it a more mosaic or stained glass effect.

A very enjoyable adult coloring book. The pictures are NOT double sided, so there is no bleeding through. The print and paper are a nice texture. The mosaics are pretty large, few tiny details. A few of the pictures were a little boring, but most were nice examples like the cover cat. The mosaic was a nice way to color animals and not be bound to life like colors. I think it is a nice book and worth the price.

This coloring book contains 31 animal mosaics to color. They are one sided and the pages are perforated. There are 2 beautiful fully colored sample pages in this book. I was looking for a large print mosaic coloring book that was not intricate. This is perfect.

Cutie pictures wife loved it.

This is the second book I have purchase from this company. The paper is good quality and the pen doesn't soak through to the other pages. They can be torn out with a perforated edge to save folding the book. The illustrations are really attractive.

Bought as a present. Friend seemed pleased - said it would give her good ideas for the mosaics she makes.

As previously stated from a customer on Amazon.com, if you like the cover of this book you will like the book. It isn't as detailed as other colouring books which is great because I can get a picture done in 1-2 hours instead of 8.

The lines are heavier in keeping with this being a book of mosaics. Peaceful to colour for relaxation.
