WiMaker Mini Spy Hidden Camera, WiFi Wireless HD 1080P USB Charger Camera Nanny Hidden Video Cam with Remote View/Motion Detection/Loop Recording for Home Security Surveillance

I am writing this review in two parts since the camera was needed as a security device to capture people entering, leaving and making a nuisance in our communal lobby. For this it is perfect in every way. Easy to set up and it was operational in 15 minutes - ready to use. Brilliant photo's and video, with good quality sound too. Noise and Motion detection alerts sent to my mobile phone and with images taken, presumably (or would be) on each occasion.Now the poor bit. The camera needs power and it needs it from a USB port (if you have one fitted high up on the wall or ceiling (who has?) it matters not as the cable is too short to reach.) Battery power - yuk - not if you need to leave it on for security as it dies in around an hour.The recording and storing of images appears to work on cloud services. This wouldn't be a problem but I have not been able to figure out how to use my own cloud as the software appears to be locked into a $5 a month service and nothing works without this. Extremely disappointing - a money scam - you can't even delete notifications without signing up! Basically the FULL services of the camera cannot be used without paying a monthly fee!!!

Someo in the office used to nick peoples snacks and even food.. I had enough of this bull$it so planted this camera in a corner socked, put mine phone on charge ( that's the thing i like about it not just imitation but actual charger as well.So in the end I did catch the thief. and quality of video is good enough to see all details.Thinks i like about itnight vision,you can switch off led lights so they don't drag attention.SD card slot in case you can't record from phone.Plug and play installation ( it's so easy to follow steps so yeah like plug and play)records with sound so if you need evidence here they are.rotation of camera view in phone, mirroring it , upside down etc.Thing I don't like :Adapter i had to use mine own as the one provided cannot be pluged in, no earth point.if your socked werry low all you can see is floor not possible to rotate camera up and down.So I wouldn't give 5 stars but it did the job so here you go 5!

Very handy little device which looks exactly like a USB adapter and masquerades as such.The device is fairly simple to set up And as it is a 2 pin European device it will fit easily into a shaver socket. The device comes with a square prong adapter but I used my own travel one in the 3 pin socket as this suited me better.The device will take a small sd card and will record on loop over writing old footage. Even with a small sd card, it will give ample recording days and activated when motion is detected. It’s small footprint allows for it to be used undetected in situations where you might need some peace of mind. I got this to use when travelling and to have in my hotel room, monitoring it while I’m out. Had a few instances of ‘things going missing’ and you really don’t have a leg to stand on to point the finger to staff or someone who has also got access.The picture quality is wonderful considering it’s seen out of a pin hole.

This hidden camera is really small enough for me,now I can just put it what ever hidden place that I wish and under sight of my children seeing it.really got what I paid for and then just only had to spend little money for the 32gb SD card.it’s working good and not the best but still acceptable in the night version.great discreet device,very useful.

Just plug it into the mains, Start the app then pair it to your phone and voila ready to be used. Does just look like a normal charger. Good quality and with motion detection.I wanted something discreet to try and catch the person out as there are people who are not family that check in on her.This is ideal as it’s very discreet and looking at the plug you would never know there was a camera inside.It was very easy to set up to my smartphone and now I can see everything real-time.It gives a great view of the area of the living room we needed. following the instruction easy to set up. You have to download the app first on your phone then connected by wifi, you can choose microphone on or off and the brightness can be changed as well, everything works well at the moment. satisfied with it.

I am glad I choose this mini cam it’s displaying amazing footage, I really couldn’t believe On such tiny object can produce clear video footage as this. It can easily be installed it does not take a genius to figure out how to install all it’s as easy as plugging your phone on charger simple as that easy to install literally is like charging your iPhone, i purchased an sd card and selected an option to loop record for 3 minute an it does the job amazingly. So far so good it does record ever minute. I am very happy with this purchase this mini cam and I would recommend to friends and family also I purchased at at 8 I’m the morning and received it same day on the evening. It can’t get better that’s that can itz

Bought this hidden camera to replace my old IP camera, due to my job, I am usually not at home for couple of days, this hidden camera helps to detective my house. It is easy to set up by downloading the app. High quality of picture, especially the night vision, it as clear as the vision in daytime. Delight to having this new gadget.

Unable to use. The device has a EU plug built in, so looks out of place to use in the UK anyway. It comes with an adapter for uk however this is only a 2 pin adapter and does not include the 3rd earth pin uk plugs use so it physically will not fit into a uk plug socket.Why is it being sold like this in the uk? i assume it would work if you was to purchase a proper eu to uk adapter however this is not what i wanted to do so have returned for refund via amazon.
