Tahoe Double Stitched Leather Browband Western Headstall Full Horse, Miniature and Pony sizes

There wasn't a chin strap included, which wasn't advertised as a part of the headstall, but it should have been. It certainly was a surprise when I opened the package. Also, the leather keepers are too small to carry the throat latch end, so my husband had to cannibalize a keeper off an older piece of equipment, cut the keeper off this headstall, put the new keeper in place, and construct a chin strap for the headstall out of an older black leather throat latch on a broken bridle. Otherwise, it is very serviceable and the leather seems to be well stitched. The black headstall looks very sharp on my bay paint mini, too. He seems to like it. :)

I was very pleased with this bridle for my miniature horse. The leather quality is very nice, not real stiff like a cheap leather one. The stitching is nice and I really like the contrasting white stitching. Looks nice on my mini horse. Sizing is hard on miniature horses, too small or too large..this worked perfectly. My minis head measurement is 28 in. from end of leather (where bit hooks on) all the way up and over to other side and down to end (where bit hooks) so measure your mini's head. It can go one hole smaller or 3 holes larger than that (each hole about 1 in. apart). Hardware good. Only thing off was the throat latch which was way to long (better than too short), just cut or punch more holes. Good buy and I recommended it to my friends for a nice working/training bridle.

A liitle plain but very functional. I did dress it up with some conchos.

Looks good, but I had to oil it liberally to make the pieces fit through the keepers, and to make it flexible enough to avoid causing irritation to my horse. Throat latch is a little short, too. It’s on the last hole.

Well made! Sturdy. Works well for my mare who needs a narrow brow band. I have found wider ones are too close to her eyes and rub her ears. Good quality for a good price!

Good quality leather, really good looking. Bit straps are flat head screws, be careful not to lose. Instructions were hard to understand if it were your first time. I have done a few times but ended up using an existing bridle to figure out assembly. It just looks strange splayed out.

I needed another set of black leather tack and had everything on hand except the headstall. After reading the reviews I decided on this one - couldn't be happier. It's a nice high-quality piece of tack.

this fits a large head! - the cheek pieces are long. The browband is an average horse size. I had to put new holes and move the chicago screws to attach the bit. Even on the highest hole the cheekpieces were still too long for my horse who is a 15 hand quarter horse cross. Granted, he does have a smaller cobbish- sized head. The bridle is reasonable considering the price. As with any tack piece, it would be nice if the vendor provided measurements of key pieces. Pretty hard leather but a consistent thickness throughout. Needs some softening to give it a nicer feel.

Nice and simple little bridal... Your able to easily add more holes if needed for more sizing space..

Leather need some conditioner very stiff - and stitching is black now white.

Bad quality, not even real leather. Not happy with the quality feels and looks cheap. Will not be Rosing again
