I love this thing! I use it mainly to clean my retainer (the sturdy plastic one after completing Invisalign). It does and amazing job and makes the retainer very clean and fresh! I just put in a capful of the fluid that comes with it but I've heard after you run out you can use a few drops of dawn. I also throw in a little bit of non-alcohol based mouthwash to make it smell nice. After 180s I take out and rinse of in since and it's super clean. Saves me a ton of money on enzyme drops (Which I use much more infrequently now) and the whitefoam cleaner I was using before (which is expensive). Bonus is I can also clean my jewelry or my glasses when I want with this as well.

I like the fact that the controls are simple and it works. I use microfiber wipes with it. I would suggest buying a supply of larger wipes at the same time. I used it successfully with Dove liquid soap, but works best with some Leader Lens cleaner that I bought. With the Dove you need very little. Hums so quietly I can hardly hear it.

I have had so many problems getting my prescription glasses clean with sprays and wipes etc. I was told if I used one of these machines it might damage the lens coating. But I read reviews saying it was not a problem so I decided to try it. I only use it twice a week and not only do the lenses come out clean but so do the frames. I love it and so far my lenses are fine.

Overall I'd have to say I am very happy to have made this purchase. Having an ultrasonic cleaner is just better than not having one. When it got here I immediately used it on glasses, jewelry, and even my Invisalign (I changed the water in between, don't be gross). It even worked wonders on my vapes tank. Sometimes you can get some pretty nasty goo built up in those but after running it through this and drying it, it looked brand new!The only reason I am not going with 5 stars for this is the controls. Essentially you have a few different chunks of time that you can run it for and you have an on and off button. Just seems that in this day and age when I have about 12 options on a digital screen to make my morning cup of coffee...they could have made this a little more dynamic.Oh and also the fact that I can just grab the vessel and carry it to the sink, leaving the base with the electronics still plugged in is very nice.

I bought this because my silver jewelry desperately needed to be clean. It comes with clear instructions for using the cleaner with silver jewelry, and it is even easier to clean other kinds of jewelry. As the video shows, it's also big enough to clean sunglasses and regular eye glasses. Someone in a review mentioned that their eyeglasses were scratched, but I have not had this problem. I add my glasses separately and use the plastic basket when cleaning them.

Bought this to replace an identical one but with another "brand name" (but same model number) that I purchased in 2012 that failed after 4 years of use. I won't replicate my other review, but summarize to say I really like the design. It works. The manual warns not to use hot water or let it overheat by cycling it too many times in a row. That might be what caused my original one to fail (I would run it 4 times in a row with the same water). Easy to clean, easy to use, effective. Only real negative is the timer doesn't go high enough and it might not be as reliable as expected.

I am not someone who is incline to leave positive or negative reviews. However, I wanted to write this review to make sure that anyone else considering purchasing items from iSonic understands that the company will not honor its warranty if your item breaks.In my case, I purchased this unit in D3000 in March 2020 to clean my nighttime retainers. Based on the fact that I wear my retainer only during the evening, I normally put them in the cleaner in the morning and run it for one or two cycles. Despite using the unit as intended, after six months the unit broke. Specifically, it started smoking during use and smelled as if it was burning inside (always a good sign).I then reached out to the company for a warranty repair, iSonic then required me to send the unit at my cost for them to repair. At this point, I should have just cut my losses and walked away, but instead I opted to at my expense send my broken unit to iSonic. Despite receiving my repair unit on September 25, 2020, iSonic did not contact me about the unit or if anything would happen.After a month of radio silence, I reached out iSonic who only then responded by saying that they would not be repairing my unit because the transducer in the unit was burned out (no duh, considering the smoking and burning smell) and that this could only be caused by my misused rather then their product's spontaneous failure. Based on their refusal to honor their own warranty, the Company then went on to offer me as a favor the ability to buy a new unit from them along with a cleaning solution. They further offered out of the goodness of their heart to cover the cost of shipping these items out to me.Quite frankly, I have never dealt with such a callous and unprofessional company. It is insulting that after they refuse to honor their warranty, they expect me to give them even more money so that they can do me the favor of selling me another likely faulty product.Maybe I will update this review if the company turns a new leaf, but I can't imagine the company doing that at this point. With that all being said, if you plan to buy this item or any other product from iSonic treat them as disposable garbage, because if they break you will not be getting any support and do not expect this company to honor its own warranty.

I bought this in 2015, I used it a couple dozen times to clean fountain pens. Last night I went to use it again. It turned on fine, seemed to be working, then I noticed it stopped vibrating, though it still sounded the same. It turns on and off, but despite the loud noise, there's no perceptible vibration. If I had been using it a lot I could see where it's been 7 years...but I used it some in the first year then not at all until now.Tired of short lived products that can't really be repaired. What a waste.

I use this for my mouthguard and cpap mouthpiece, or the occasional toothbrush, etc. The size is decent as I wouldn't want it much bigger for the space. It is a bit of a challenge to drain it as I have to unplug it (to prevent accidental shock), pour carefully out the back (least chance of dripping into vents), and give it quick wipe before setting it back up. The container is stainless steel with a plastic tray. It's a little expensive, and the quality seems great, except for avoiding getting water into the many vents. It does a great job of vibrating and cleaning.

I've had this for 7 months, a little water got into it when I was draining it about 4 months in, stopped working. It dried out, worked for another little while and now it's broken again. Don't waste your money.
