Thought these might be of poor quality, was wrong. They are a good valve stem extender and would buy again. They do have a " hex so that you can get a wrench on it.

Luck of the draw.
When tightening one of the extenders to the valve it broke at the base making it useless. The second extender worked fine so I'm guessing I was just unlucky in having a weak extender.
