Great way for your strong willed, energetic child to get the joys and freedom of running around without the danger of them running straight into the parking lot or out of sight. It was this or the stroller and I hate to confine her to the stroller and prevent her the opportunity to jump around and walk with me. I dislike the judgy looks from passers by and fellow parents, but frankly it pales in comparison to the fact that she gets to play and run around vs. having to be in a stroller because she is so high energy and go-go-go! Great product, pretty well made. Careful not to let little fingers in the buckles. We call ours “buckles” the monkey and he is well-loved. Pocket isn’t very functional but can hold a small toy or keys. I highly recommend.

Bought this to keep our 1-year old from running into the ocean on a tropical vacation. It worked great! Washed it three times over the trip to remove salt water and sand and it held up perfectly-no loose threads or anything. To top off its functionality-it was suuuper cute! Everyone wanted to know where we got the cute monkey backpack from. I love it and will use it often now that we are home as well. Son loves it too :)

The monkey is very cute, but nothing fits in the tiny pocket. He has another one that is a car and he likes it better because he can put a few toys in it and I can put a pull-up for an emergency.

My niece loves monkeys and is very free spirited. Hope she likes!
