Brilliant wee bowl
Bought to stop my puppy from gobbling her food. Does the job quite well and has slowed her down. Does well in the dishwasher

Stops scoffing!
My kitten was beginning to eat an entire dinner serving in one gulp and as a result had terrible bouts of vomiting and hiccups as a result. After searching about I came across this slow feeder and what a difference it has made! No more vomiting or bloating, did take a while for her to get use to it but now has no problem getting food from between the dividers. Overall would definitely recommend for pets who eat far too quickly!

Great but too low to the ground to use as is
Design of the maze in the bowl works - slows our very greedy cat down effectively. He inhales food in a normal bowl. He can be slow to figure things out (unlike our other cat) but it only took a few goes and lots of persistence from us in ignoring his cries for food in a different bowl. Three days and he’d realised a different bowl isn’t coming back. However, there’s a fatal flaw in the bowl design - it’s too flat and low to the ground. Cat couldn’t eat from it as it is. As soon as I raised it on a platform (about 5cm high) he could eat. But this isn’t practical, it moves around, falls off. I tried gluing but the plastic the bowl is made from needs an industrial adhesive as it’s very slippery (low surface energy) so I haven’t figured out a way to modify the bowl for permanent use. Shame these bowls aren’t available in raised design, as other cat feeding bowls are, since it’s known that a higher bowl is better for their digestion and feeding. FYI: cat eats biscuits only, so this review isn’t about wet food in the bowl. For the price we’ll take it and figure out a modification somehow.

Extremely small
Now I wanted small, but this is very small! We have a miniature dachshund puppy and it barely holds a good feed in it. Really hard to judge online how small it would be. I think it would barely hold a sachet of cat food for example.Having said this, it’s light, easy to clean and has slowed down the gulping a little (only when they half way through food).

Really works
Very pleased with this product, it does exactly what I was looking for. My Yorkie was eating so fast he sometimes would be sick soon after eating, but now he is taking at least 3 times longer, still clears his dish and hasn't been sick after a meal.

If your pet isn’t too smart..
The media could not be loaded. Perfectly sturdy little bowl, rubber feet, good size, the only reason to not like it is if your pet is too smart for this and flips it over to get the food out- see my video of Oz! I think maybe shorter prongs would encourage smaller mouths to try and use the bowl as intended, so I think this is more suitable for small dogs rather than cats.

Not suitable for very young kittens
I think this will be great when our kittens are older. They are three and a half months and tend to ‘inhale’ their food as though it is their last meal ever. At present they find them frustration rather disheartening so rather than causing distress we will use it when they are a little older (& have longer tongues).Great idea however and I know they work well for dogs.
