I eagerly awaited this book for a few years before it was finished and released. The author has done a lot of well detailed research and development on this engine. He also is a regular on some of the Bulletin boards relating to Alfa Romeo's, as such he is an active resource for any Alfisti who desire to learn more about the Alfa V6 engines. There is scant availability of any proven, documented facts on V6 development so this book really fills a need for anyone desiring help with improving the power output of the V6 Alfa motor.While I really like this book I would say that in order to fully versed in everything you need to know about these engines you will need the official workshop manual as well, and to do some additional research.But if you want to increase the output of your Alfa V6 or learn more about it then this book belongs on your shelf. Or better yet your workshop bench.

This is the only book available to help with performance upgrades on your Alfa Romeo V6. The level of detail is more than adequate.

It is a very interesting and useful reading.

I bought this book for my dad. He is totally exhausted about the perfect describtions. He loves to read all about the engine and also the detailed information about how to buy new parts make him very happy.

there is indepth description of the improvments for RWD but not for the FWD cars like the Lancia.Good book to understand what it takes to boost the V6 engine.

Tratta in modo approfondito sia i motori 12 valvole che i motori 24 valvole, ci sono molti consigli utili e indicazioni molto importanti. L'autore e' estremamente competente, purtroppo non contiene nessuna indicazione per la preparazione dei motori turbocompressi e tenendo conto che il V6 Busso vinse il premio come miglior motore turbocompresso dell'anno, (nella versione 2 litri turbo dell'Alfa 164), la cosa mi lascia molto perplesso. Altra cosa: l'autore presuppone che il motore debba venire montato con la trasmissione originale delle 106 (Alfetta, 90, 75, etc.) e quindi non parla di come elaborarlo oltre i livelli di potenza sopportabili dai transaxle di serie di quelle auto.Molto interessanti i dettagli sulle parti interne dei motori e sulle loro diverse versioni.Indicazioni molto dettagliate sull'elaborazione dei condotti della testa, una delle parti migliori del libro.

Libro ben fatto, per veri appassionati. Tratta nel dettaglio tutti gli aspetti dei singoli componenti del motore.

Used for dis/assembliing my engine.Very detailed info about what and how to do stuff on the Busso engines. With mild mods it can be applied to the 24V and other engine sizes.

Very interesting , really enjoyed the read , very educational and interesting . Look forward to getting my gtv and putting this to work
