This brush set far exceeded my expectations. I have three cats that all sleep on my bed 24/7 and I clean the bed daily with a similar fabric "magic" brush. It was time to get a new one when the handle snapped in half. While looking for a replacement, I ran across this item and was both interested and very skeptical about the effectiveness of the lint removing brush holder, but I thought I would give it a try. Here is my out of the box experience and impression:1) SIZE--It is much larger than I was expecting! The large unit with the brush in the holder is 13" high x 1.75" front to back at the base x 2.875" wide at the base. Just the brush is 12" long x 2-1/8" wide at the brush end. The fabric surface is 6.75" long x 2-1/8" wide)2) THE BRUSH HOLDER--I couldn't get the brush out of the cleaning holder/stand. However, after removing the cap/foot from the bottom of the holder, I could see that the brush was not in its track and was wedged in tight. I had to separate the front and back of the holder at the sides a bit to allow enough space to free the brush and reinsert it correctly. However, pulling out and inserting the brush still required a lot of effort. After putting the brush in and pulling it out several times, it became somewhat easier.3) THE BRUSH--The handle on this brush is very sturdy. I don't expect this handle will ever break in any way, ever. It is much longer than the brushes that I have been using for years, so it covers more area with each swipe. In addition, the fabric on the brush is much thicker and sturdier than all others that I have previously used and gets all the hair in only one or two swipes. So covering a larger area with far fewer swipes gets the job done in significantly less time. 4) THE BRUSH CLEANING FEATURE--It actually works! I did not see one cat hair on the brush after putting it in the holder and pulling it out. The same fabric that is on the brush is on the inside of both the front and back of the brush holder. So when you put the dirty brush in and pull it out, the interior fabric grabs the hair off of the brush, so it does have to exert some resistance in order to clean the hair off the brush. The hair falls to the bottom of the holder, where the bottom cap has to be removed to empty out the hair. I'm looking forward to no longer having to remove the hair by rubbing a brush with my thumb so often that it almost blisters and the the time that this too will save.

3 important things to know about this product.1) it works as well as a disposable tape roller when used properly (can only swipe in one direction based on the structure of the bristles) and is definitely worth the price, in my opinion, to have a reusable device for pet hair removal.2) the product is difficult to remove from the case/cleaner but that friction causing it difficult to remove seems to be what cleans the device so that it can be reusable. Note: I had to insert and remove the product from the case/cleaner multiple times to actually get it sufficiently clean enough to reuse.3) the case/cleaner is difficult to empty because the bottom of the case/cleaner where the hair collects is not easy to remove. I still think the ability to reuse this product is worth the minor hassles, but I can see why it would not be a good fit for everyone.

Ok so I keep the small one in my car and sometimes it works REALLY WELL and other times I feel like I'm going to brush all my clothes away because I'm brushing so dang hard.

This thing is such a great investment. I use it everyday on my furniture, since I have a cat and long hair. It saves so much money and it’s good for the environment to not use those adhesive lint rollers. Giving it 4 stars because when I am wearing black it doesn’t always get it all and I have to go over with the adhesive roller.

It removes hair great. I only gave it 4 stars because it came with no instructions. The small brush was extremely difficult to remove from it's holder, and directions would have been invaluable. It did NOT come out the way one would expect. Is it really too much to ask to include one sheet of paper with directions to illustrate how to remove the item from the holders? Sheesh!

Works well for removing hair and lint. Only thing found was wife could not use because she did not have the strength to pull brush from cleaning sleeve. I had to give it a pretty hard pull to get it out, 6' 3" 210 lbs.. Finally figured out how to take large cleaning sleeve apart to clean but still have not figured out how to take the small cleaning sleeve apart. Cleaning sleeve good idea but just not functional to the average strength person.

After a year of near DAILY use, I am getting a new set. Two dogs (1 white, 1 black) and a tan suede-ish couch, this tool works GREAT! I will NEVER waste $ on sticky rollers again!

Came very fast. Works pretty good. The mitt did remove some shedding hair from dogs. The large brush is easy to remove from shaft, however, the smaller one is harder and does not completely come out of shaft. Wasn’t ready for that. Nevertheless, the small one works fine as well.
