Amtech I8085 9.5mm (3/8") Torque Wrench

I liked the look of the sockets & t- bar. The job started well, the old plugs were easily unscrewed & as they were gripped by the inner rubber sleeve it made it an easy job to extract them from the deep recess in the cylinder head. But once the new plugs were screwed in the rubber inside the socket held on to the plug so tight that the t-bar kept coming off & leaving the socket in the recess. Eventually had to remove the new plug & open up the hole in the rubber liner to get the socket off.

You market this hefty thing as an anti-burgler device. It's quite a solid lump. However I bought it because I wanted to remove a gas lift cylinder from an office chair. Nothing else had worked. But this did the trick in moments. Excellent strong wrench.

Very useful helped me change my own spark plugs in Vauxhall Corsa d without help of mechanic who quoted me £40 I changed everything under £25

The sizes are not very good, they're a bit loose on the nuts. Well the ones I've used anyhow. Not very deep sockets and thick metal so if you've got alloys that the nuts are pretty close to like I have then this is going to mark them. Worst 4 way wheel wrench I've ever used, will not be used again.

I don't use these very often, but every now and then they are the perfect tool for the job. The price of these as excellent and represent great value for money, and I felt they were ideally priced to justify buying them and keeping them around for those particular jobs where they are just the tool you need.At work I have used more expensive "name brands" but I cannot discern any difference in overall quality or effectiveness.

Always best to use to safely tighten nuts and bolts on vehicle to right tightness without risk of shearing them off.

Well i had no problems with this item worked well and got the jod done 10 out of 10
