Worst part is remembering what you put where.

Traveling vest for me. Nine pockets for your stuff and a svelte appearance if you don't fill too many of them. Easy to pair this one out with a nice shirt if you care about appearance, especially in the midnight/navy color. I don't know that I'll ever want to do this, but you could actually achieve even a semi-dressy look, with a tie, if you wanted to!On the downside, I hate the zipper. Silly Brits not only drive on the wrong side of the road, they also zip their clothes up on the wrong side. And it's not as good a zipper as I'm used to. Maybe I'm just clumsy getting used to it being on the wrong side, but I've already jammed it a few times. Either I make peace with it soon or I will have to return this vest. I think Result makes good stuff, but I would gladly pay a little more $$ for this vest with a REAL YKK zipper. If I were Result, I would make this change TODAY.Other thing might be that this is not going to be a real good hot-weather vest, as I had thought from the pictures of mesh panels in its construction. It's more for moderate weather, still too substantial for real hot weather. In compensation, it's rain/wind resistant.So at the moment I'm on the fence. Three stars. I hope I can make peace with the zipper, because otherwise I like the vest and would like to keep it.EDIT: The zipper still isn't great, but I've made peace with it. Most of the trouble I had was because the zipper is on the wrong side. There's a little re-learning of old reflexes with this one. It's still a little fiddly, and I still wish they would replace this zipper with a larger, higher quality one, but it's okay.I'm keeping the vest and upgrading my rating to four stars.Oh.. and the seller was great. Don't worry if amazon quotes you 40 days delivery or some nonsense! Even though the item comes from the UK, the seller said "7-10 days" and it arrived in 6 days, on a Saturday, here in the USA, on the West Coast, by air mail.

I apologize in advance for the long detailed review but I think it'll help other industrial people who are looking for a strong comfortable work vest with a ton of pockets.Second vest I ordered in 4 moths and I'll definitely order more, I'm an industrial electrician/mechanic and this thing is perfect for me with all the pockets I even use the back pocket/pouch for gloves and paper towels, the 45 front pockets are awesome too haha but really the front 3 lower pockets are deep I put 10mm,7/16,1/2,9/16 wrenches, 6" knipex channel locks in one pockets and 6" adjustable wrench, 10 in one, mini screw driver and a flashlight in the other especially the one with the zipper where I can put a 10" pry bar, pipe wrench or a multimeter, I don't use the inside pockets I think there's three not sure and the chest pockets I use for a note pad, marker and pen and there's two more but I don't use those because those are two small for anything I use.p.s. This is a thin vest that'll help you keep in a little bit of warmth if you're wearing a t-shirt and uniform shirt but definitely not for anything colder than 50 degrees which I work in a temperature controlled place at 52 degree tropical weather for us Chicago people haha

Quality of this vest seems quite good. Will have to see how it holds up over time. I purchased the dark blue vest, and it is a very dark blue. I am somewhat color blind and it is hard for me to see the blue. Closer to black, but others tell me it is blue but very dark. Since beginning to wear this one, I have ordered the lighter colored vest. So I will have two.This material is not heavy. I wanted a vest that I could wear in the summer for concealed carrying. This vest is good for IWB and shoulder holsters. It is not made to carry a gun, but it covers them up nicely. It may become a little too warm when the weather gets hot, but so far this spring, it has worked for its intended purpose quite well.As others have pointed out, there are lots of pockets, which have Velcro closures. I generally keep my wallet, cell phone, and keys in a few of them. Have also been throwing change into one of the large pockets.As for complaints, it would have been nice to have a Velcro closure between the front halves. Something to keep it closed without having to zip up. Zipper is on the wrong side for Americans, as someone else has noted.

I got this vest as a cover garment for IDPA. It is awesome! The price point is so much less than the dozens of other concealment vests out there, but the quality is every bit as good or better than those more expensive competitors. The first time I showed up to a match wearing this vest, all the guys were jealous of it. It looks great, hangs well, and conceals just like it needs to. I wore it during the height of summer and in the fall and spring. It is as hot as you would expect in hot weather. It is just right in the cooler months. The only annoyance is the netting on the inside snags on stuff if you toss it over something snaggy. Other than that, it's great. Oh, and the sizing was just about right for what we would say is "U.S. sizing." In fact, the XXL ran a little larger than I expected. I probably could have gone one size down, but I regret t every time I do that. Quality craftsmanship, accurate sizing, excellent price point, smart styling: I wish I had bought two!
