Dr. MartensUnisex 8053 Quad 5-Eye Shoe, Black Polished Smooth

According to the measurements on the Dr. Martens website, I would be a size 5. I measured my feet according to the instructions there. However, after buying these in size 5 on Amazon, they are too tight. I had to return. I ended up getting these same shoes from Dr. Martens on their website in a size 6 and they fit perfectly. I would advise you size down for these. I'm normally a 6.5 or 7 in most shoes and size 6 in these and one other style of Docs fit me. I did need to wear two pairs of socks with the size 6 for a perfect fit. I hope this helps all those confused by the sizing. These shoes look great and feel pretty good. You will need to break them in. My previous Docs lasted over 5 years. Great shoes. Highly recommended

I did return them and bought a different pair of DMs but it wasn’t an easy decision. I needed walking shoes and I’m sure I could have broke these in and walked in them but chose another pair of dms as my everyday shoes. I kinda regret cause I LOVED the way the looked on me

My holy grail shoes for most outfits. They are really heavy so maybe not too suitable for days of long walking, but I like that it’s platform, and it makes my outfits look way cuter!

The leather is nice and thick the stitching is excellent. The souls are inspiring to say the least. 😈I now have old people asking me again to reach for things on high shelves

I love these shoes, they are high quality and super cute. They were a little too large for me. I typically wear a 10.5 and I have slender feet. I ordered a 10. These are large and chunky and slide around a bit making it very difficult to walk long distances. But not bad enough for me to dock any points.

The first time I wore these, they gave me HUGE blisters on the back of my ankles after going for a short walk. My blisters healed and I got silicone pads for the back of the shoes to reduce rubbing, now that I wear them a lot and have broken them in so the leather is softer, they don’t rub on the back of my ankle anymore. There are ways to break-in docs that I neglected to do, I was excited to wear them right away because they are super cute. Worth the purchase because now they are comfortable and cute.

For my sizing, my heal slips out. I tried to size down, which was definitely too small.I wear them with my heal slipping out, but it's comfortable enough that way.
