Watch what you order maybe not what your really wanting to get.
Well update on this subwoofer . It lasted a little over a year on 2250 watts. Put it on 4500 and it lasted 4 months voice coil rub loud rattle on high notes It's not what's pictured , it's the version 2 of the sub which has smaller cone, which isn't as efficient as the one in picture, it's only 1500 watt rms 3000 watt peak. When I received the sub it had a broken screw in one of the mounting holes. This was overall a headache of a order. Had big competition coming up needed the sub to compete , they got back with me on the product saying I could return it just didn't have Time . I would've liked to not of paid 300 for it with broken screw and being not was listed in photo nor item description.

Great subwoofer but the one I received looked used or just beat up for no reason, not good at all
Great bugdet sub but I noticed a hand full of blemishes and scratches all over the rubber surround and basket. It doesn't affect the sound at all but it makes me upset to know that my sub isn't as new as the seller and Amazon wants me to think. Update, I forgot to mention that when I recieved the sub the gasket was completely warped and unusable because it doesn't seal flush because of the damage done to the gasket itself. Didn't look new at all, very disappointed and dissatisfied with this hd series subwoofer. My skar zvx rated at 1500 rms does more than this hd sub which is rated at 2000 rms,

Sub watts advertised wrong. Should be 3000/1500 not 4000/2000.

Best bang for your buck.
This is banging my Cadillac trunk. I have it wired 1ohm on a nvx vad27001 amplifier. 2700w and this speaker isn't even getting hot. I need a bigger box for it due to the large space it calls for, but for a bass head like myself it quakes. In fact I like this one sub better than my 2 Resilient sounds gold 12s.

Definitely 2K+ RMS
I have no clue what these other guys are complaining about but I have the version 1 American Bass and I have it hooked up to a taramp smart 3. mine takes 3,000 Watts RMS daily, so it is definitely a 2000 watt RMS subwoofer. It weighs 54lbs and has 350oz of magnets. I've played mine for well over two years and it was used when I traded for it. YOU WILL NEED A EXTRA BATTERY AND AMP CAPABLE OF 3K RMS. If you run it on dirty power you are going to blow any sub. I'm telling you give it the extra juice and hook it up to an amp over its rated power and you will be amazed. People are just dumb AF
