Boskke Cube Small Planter, Clear

This product is stylish and an innovative design. However, there is a tendency to build up algae in the water compartment. I am not sure if the manufacturer offers any recommendations as to how to keep the cube algae free in an environmentally sound manner. This tendency to grow algae makes the pot relatively more labour intensive to maintain compared to a plain, standard pot. The advantage the product offers over a standard pot is that the plants need to be watered less often. I would recommend to the manufacturer to introduce different shapes rather than just the one square cube offering. Perhaps a Boskke Oval?

Love this square planter. It is self watering. Modern looking and very cool. Friends all ask about it when they see it and I'm sure a couple have also ordered it.The cover can come off kind of easy so I wish it 'locked' in better but other than that. A cleaning wipe for the dust since it is clear and fill the water and done.

It's very simple and made of plastic. It looks nice, but I'm not sure it's worth the money. It would look nice to have multiples though and it's nice to fill it up with water and not have to worry about it.

Works quite well. If it hadn't been for my plant growing wild and eventually rooting itself into this pot, I would say it was damn near perfect. Does require you to do some manual watering but in general reduces the amount of times you need to do this significantly.

Im loving this plant pot, i purchased it for my carnivorous plant collection and wanted something more modern looking. The large is a perfect size too, its not as sturdy as i would have thought, i was expecting a thicker type of plastic but overall im still really happy with it. I dont think there is anything else like it on the market.

Flimsy plastic. The top - with the planter container - easily dislodges into the water container.Also bulky appearance -not at all aesthetic.

Upon first inspection, the planter seems innovative but it looks a tad cheap. Over time, green scum grows inside the clear section that doesn't contain soil.

I bought this for my Mother as she has a poor track record with plants. She absolutely loves it, and is currently growing one of the most health Chillie plants I have ever seen. It's incredibly easy to set up and and you can truly forget to water your plant for a whole month, and when you do remember it's the easiest thing with the small hole in the top corner of the pot.The clear pot is surprisingly resistant to algae, although I don't know if hard water will have anything to do with this, your experience with soft water may be different. It does occasionally gather sediment at the bottom but you can easily detach the pot into two parts and rinse it in running water.The only issue we had was with the clay disk at the bottom of the pot. It's removable and therefor needs to be pushed in as far as possible to make the whole thing watertight before you add the soil. We found this out the hard way. I would put this down to personal error more than a defect with the product as the removable disk will probbibly make it easier to clean when the time comes.All in all a great product that I would recommend to novice and avid growers alike.

The size is good for a small plant , I don't think it waters the plant in it , it's too expensive for what it's meant to be let alone what it is!

Great idea! For everyone who are not confident with growing a plant at home in case it would died “again”! The only thing is I should buy the bigger one. The small one is really small.Recommend
