You get a lot of artist grade paint for your money. I wouldn't put it in the Daniel Smith class, but it is very nice paint at a good value. I bought the set because it had a lot of cadmium colors which I like to use on Yupo paper, where sheerness is not a consideration. The paint rewets and lifts very well. I'd buy it again.

These artist quality paints are a perfect value for your money! Lightfast, beautiful colors, convenient packaging. I use White Nights my entire art/design career, and they are comparable (if not better ) with leading artist quality brands, for a fraction of the cost. Highly recommend. I use them for textile design, portraits, pet paintings and painting demos. I use this set for a larger scale paintings, and a full pan 36 color White Nights set for a smaller scale paintings.

As someone relatively new to watercolor, I had started with another set, a cheap set. As time went on it became clear I needed higher quality paints, but I am still learning and didn't want to waste too much money. After researching online these seemed to be the best of the relatively inexpensive ones at "professional" grade. I have found them to be much smoother, the pigments more vibrant, than what I was previously using so definitely worth the price difference. Only problem had was in opening them. Had to use a sharp pin to puncture the thin foil covering and a few of the tubes immediately loosed a large dollop of the paint (apparently having been under more pressure than others) which seemed a bit wasteful of the paint. I was able to save most of it in small palette pans so I can use it but did lose a bit in the process. I would caution to hold over the palette as you open so you can save any paint that might escape during the process. I also liked that they had detailed information on th back about the color fastness of each tube, how opague, which pigment numbers were used, etc. Very useful. I've done some blending to try out getting additional colors and these have blended much better than the cheaper ones I used to use. Definitely worth the money.

These are my favorite watercolors ever! For the price, you can’t beat it. The quality is outstanding, the colors are vibrant, and you get beautiful results. Once I run out of these paints, I will definitely be repurchasing.

Had no idea this brand came from - I think -Russia. The quality was awful - pasty, too thick, colors not saturated. It went back . Don’t waste your $$.

I bought this after a long reviews viewing because I wanted something with quality and accessible cost and this set was the most recommended.I think they're amazing, the colors are vibrant and very pigmented.Most of them are one single pigment wich it's great for mixing without getting muddy colors. The only thing that is that the yellows, specially the cadmium its not very transparent.

Got this as recommended by pro. These are great watercolors, pro or beginner. She told me after I used these, nothing else in the price range would satisfy. She was right. I'm a beginner and love the rich color absorbency, and water resilency. I do use 140-300 lb watercolor paper. These are great paints. Worth every good value cents.

The amount in the tube is great for this price. But the ‘quinacridone lilac’ and ‘green light’ don’t have the vibrancy of the old paints from the same manufacturer I own.In addition the two orange tubes contain almost identical pigment. Everything else is fine.
