YES!!! These are IT! The same good old fashioned diapers I've used to make burp cloths for many years. They are thinner on the sides than in the middle (just like they always were) but STURDY-- not one step up from a Kleenex. These are Just like the ones our parents used before the dawn of disposable diapers. They used to be a standard, now shopping online for them is so hard and confusing because there are so many different variations without a thorough description. And so many of these new variations really suck. But if you're looking for the " ones you always used to use," look no further. These are it! (Yeah, they are organic, BUT, they are just like the good old ones.)

Third kid so didn't think we needed any more burp cloths but the hubs wanted something larger than the ones we already had and this fits the bill perfectly. So much so that it's all I use now too. Large, soft and absorbent! We go through several a day so large pack is great.

I received two different kinds of these diapers, and there is a big difference.The organic gauze diapers are great! They are the best cloth diapers I've found. They're actually absorbent, and they're now the only cloth diapers I will use.The birdseye diapers, on the other hand, are not absorbent enough for use as diapers. They make great burp cloths, but that's about it. They won't even absorb one entire pee.

The best diaper cloths! I actually use these for burp rags and they're really thick and actually absorb liquid unlike similar thinner ones .

These were perfect for creating customer quilted Burpees for a gift. Excellent quality for the cost

20+ years ago I started making burpers for grandkids and/or shower gifts. Just fold both wings into the center and secure with a long stitch down the middle for maximum absorption. Then add a row of cotton eyelet on each narrow end, top the eyelet with a cute strip of 1-1.5" ribbon and you have a burper. Repeat frequently--my first grandson used to call his a towel and used it like a security blanket going to and from daycare. I really appreciate being able to use organic cotton diapers since the baby's head will be resting on the burpers. Thx!

The description heavily implies ALL cotton diapers. Upon receipt, I had to go back and check. Nowhere does it describe a second material, ie polyester. I want ALL cotton, so back these go. Either I was shipped the wrong item or the description is deliberately misleading.These cloths are indeed soft and fluffy - thinner than I’d prefer, but certainly thicker than many others I’ve seen pictured on reviews of other listings. I can’t say anything further as these are completely unused, unwashed, and returning to seller. Not the same as the ones I’ve had in the past, but quite close. They’ll be wonderful for anyone not wanting 100% cotton diapers.
