I read lots of reviews of all the car seat bags here on Amazon and in general on the web. In the end, Gate Check PRO just seemed like the right choice. Ordered two and they arrived almost over-night - super fast! Opened and examined them both - great quality, not a single string, flaw or issue. Used them both on two flight and didn't worry about my kids seats at all. Simple to put the seats in, easy enough to secure and store the draw strings. Carry handles made them simple to sit on top of our roller bags and handle while walking through the airports. Easy to identify and watch our seats as they went through the baggage process. Kind of funny how airline folks handle them personally and individually as opposed to regular baggage. These bags made our travel much easier.

This bag works well. We keep it in our carry on because sometimes we've been lucky to get an extra seat for the car seat last minute. If not then we just gate check the seat with this bag at the gate. We used it with the chicco nextfit about 5 times and its held up pretty well. There is probably 2 more uses before the bag will need replacement. A wear spot is developing but that means its protecting my car seat.My routine is to put my car seat on the go-go baby dolly and wheel my kid around it to the gate. Once we get to the gate then I will ask if there is an extra seat available. If not then I pull out the bag from my carry on and put the car seat with the dolly all together into the bag.If this thing was heavier duty i'd give it 5 stars but definitely worth picking up if you're a traveler.

We used this to fit a Britax Marathon convertible car seat on four flights between Ohio and Florida. It worked beautifully. The nylon fabric is thicker than that on gate check bags I've looked at in stores. The only mar on it after four gate checks is one black spot on the bottom; I couldn't find any weaknesses in the fabric or seams when I packed it back away in the convenient attached pouch after our vacation. It was surprisingly easy to carry to and from gate check with either the backpack straps or the front carry strap, and the backpack straps made it possible to loop it over the handle of a carry-on suitcase between gates (though a little heavy and awkward, granted. We actually took two identical car seats on our trip and checked one for our 5-year-old but put our 2-year-old in the other. Between this product and the  Traveling Toddler Car Seat Travel Accessory , this feat was far easier than I would have thought possible. Highly recommended.

We used this bag for transporting a Recaro Pro-Ride car seat AND Britax travel cart through several international airports without incident. Other than being generously over-sized, the best part is that the whole bag fits into a little built-in pocket when you are using it. It's a bit hard to describe but basically there is a little pocket with a bungee cord attached to the bag itself. When not in use this travel bagfits inside the pocket safe and sound in a space not much bigger than both of mine hands pressed together.Instead of gate-checking the car seat (or using it on the airplane) we checked it in with the rest of our bags. The cart folds up so small that we just put the cart in the bag along with the car seat.VERY glad we used a bag to check our car -seat... because it got stained and wet, however, the car seat was perfectly dry inside. Our airlines put several "fragile" and "heavy" stickers on the bag that was fairly reassuring, and of course this item is so big it goes into the "special handling" areas so it didn't suffer the dreaded carousel blues, but was instead waiting for us in the over-sized luggage area.All in all a great buy! Note that I'm not advocating check-in vs. gate check vs. using the car seat in the airplane... it's just regular check-in was best for our situation.

I have done a lot of research on amazon/online about which car seat travel bag would be the most dependable for my family for years to come, I decided to go with the "Gate Check Pro Car Seat Travel Bag" since it had the least complaints from users, it looks good in blue and is light enough for traveling...Once i got it, it didn't disappoint me, i used it 4 times in summer of 2015, each flight was about 6 hours long(in and out of europe), my number one concern was tears in the bag since our fullback booster car seat was on the heavy side, but smooth corners. in the end, i didn't find any tears at all, the only found scratch marks were from the airports rough handling as usual...

I was traveling by myself with two children and was able to fit two Chicco Backed boosters into this bag for gate check without trouble. One stayed put together and the other was taken apart. I put the seat base in between the two backs. Although the straps worked well for carrying through the airport during a tight connection, it did get a bit heavy so I used the small Samsonite dolly/hand truck I'd brought along for all other transporting. After the first flight there was a small hole in the bag - fortunately it didn't rip further during the next leg or the two flights home. I may try to patch the hole and I'll definitely use this again until the hole rips bigger. Based on the condition of the bag after the four flights I'm really glad I had the seats protected in a bag or they'd be filthy and pretty banged up!

I'm so happy I spent the extra money to buy this bag over cheaper competitors! The ballistic nylon really makes a difference. It is much thicker and more durable than polyester. I was able to fit both of my twins car seats in a single bag, along with the pool noddles we have to use to get them installed properly. Barely, but still, a nice perk. The bag has both a carry handle and backpack straps. The padding on the straps is minimal, but my car seats are light (an honestly car seats in an unstructured bag are never going to make a very comfortable backpack), so this didn't bother me at all. I was really glad to have our name on the outside AND have a nice little pocket for complete contact information inside the top flap. Top flap also velcros closed, so seats stayed nice and dry despite rain/snow. Hishly recommend this bag!

OMG !!! This bag was a LIFE SAVER !!Bought it before our trip to Spain, after our last holiday in 2013 trying to cart x2 XL suitcases, x4 lots of hand luggage AND x2 car seats and a Push Chair, anybody who has tried to mount all this on a single suitcase trolley with a pushchair and x2 kids in tow knows how much of a struggle this is especially in a stressful airport environment.This bag is EASILY big enough for x2 oversized car seats packed top to tail and I dont just mean high back boosters, i'm talking the likes of isofix Recaro's, Diono's or Maxi-Cosi's. Simply drive to the airport, chuck the kids out of the car, unpack the travel back from its enclosed pocket and put the seats in. When the seats are in, tighten the pull chords, apply the velcro lid and then simply wear it as a rucksack.Can't recommend this enough !!

I bought the same bag twice and both times it ripped after the first use, it is such a shame because it is great and easy to use and recognise when at the airport, if the material was a little bit ticker I would have said 5 stars.

The bag appears to be very well made, it's good quality. Protection is limited, but then you know this from the description. It's a big bag and will be suitable when we move up from the infant seat to the next size.

This must be the easiest way to carry a baby seat when travelling by air and driving a rental car. The carrier fits the seat snugly and with carrying straps turns into a rucksack so both hands are free for the other multitude of 'baby' items.

Used once for holidays. Does make it easier to carry but awkward to get in and out of the bag with a britax evolva
