Very Effective on sandstone patio
Using a chlorine solution is known as "Soft Washing". Called this because high pressure blasting isn't necessary to get an amazing visual difference in a short time. Two areas of Indian sandstone patio were looking a mess, I thought that most in the more shaded area would need to be replaced! Sandstone is soft and porous by nature, algae and lichen love the stuff.Sandstone is vulnerable to erosion, using a Karcher dirt blaster lance started to cause pitting in some of the softest areas of individual slabs and I was looking for a better way to defeat algae, Lichen etc.I knew that after a general wash down, bleach was the tool, but the domestic thin bleach is just 2% w/v of sodium hypochlorite (Hypo), which didn't work, even applied neat and left to soak. This Hypo is 15% when new, I made a solution with 50% tap water, sprayed it on the slabs and quickly noticed areas of small bubbles as organic residues were oxidised. After sufficient dwell time, it was rinsed well with a hosepipe. There was an amazing initial effect and for a few hours after rinsing, the slabs appeared to be getting cleaner still! It didn't cause any chemical staining of the sandstone and hard scrubbing was not necessary. Some of the more heavily affected areas had a slight visible residue of dead organic stuff! This will lose its grip after a few rain showers, washes and a re-treatment.Value for money lost a point because I purchased two 5L containers, a single larger container would be cheaper by unit, but it was my first trial of this specific product.Ease of use lost some points, only to highlight that it isn't something anyone can apply safely. It MUST be used and handled with great care. PPE should be used, access to areas being treated must be controled, pets must be kept away until it has been rinsed very well. There's much more to safety than these basic points, which aren't a guide.I used a backpack sprayer with an oval "drift guard" surrounding the nozzle, this stopped spray mist from being blown away from where it was being applied.

Works well
Used on block paving, plastic decking, and ceramic patio slabs.Works well!Added about 150ml to a watering can and applied through a watering can with rose. Before and after photos attached of block paving.Green algae gone and block paving looking like new.Recommend.Note, this is sodium hyperchloride and effectively this is bleach and comes with some mild, but not overpowering smell.

Good job, good value
No real instructions on the bottle but I diluted it 50:50. Jet washed the drive first to get the bulk of dirt off it which then looked quite good. Spreqd the product wirh a watering can and left it for 20 mins. Using a high pressure lance on the white and black bits of 'fungus' brought them off easily. The rest was done with a spinny patio brush. Once dried it looked like a brand new drive. Very impressive.Down side is that it's quite smelly and may get on some people's lungs.

Good patio cleaner
be careful around children and pets. did a good job of cleaning a brick patio. Spray on and leave to do its job. rinse off to dilute the solution

Good
Patio hadn't been cleaned in 10 years so used neat left it on for an hour and I'd say cleaned 75% of the dirt and grime off. Mixed another 5l with 50/50 mix but still needed another spray of neat solution. So all in all 3 applications and I'd say 95% of the slabs were clean but still a few slabs had litchens and black spot hence the 4 stars.

Patio and Path cleaning
I have a monoblock patio nearly twenty years old. I cleaned it every year with Jeyes Flyid and a jet wash. Last year I was recommended trade bleach. I would say it worked better and the was no lingering smell. So this year I purchased your product. Bingo! My patio is clean so much so that I would say there is almost a shine to it. Bravo.
