Came as sharp as you would expect a low priced tool to come. Plan on sharpening once you receive it, if you do that you will be reasonably satisfied.

This knife is great for making knife walls for wood workers and precise cut lines for sawing dove tails.

Needs a decent edge put on it. Not really a mark against it. At that price, you shouldn't be expecting a razor sharp blade. You're going to have to sharpen it again later, so what's one more time? Seems like it's comfortable enough to hold onto. The fit and finish leave a bit to be desired, but again, it's a $15 knife, not a $50 one. It isn't going to be perfect. But it will do the job.
