We have been loyal to Western Chief boots for years because of their fit, comfort, durability, and resale value. The most recent purchase of Western Chiefs were rain boots for our first grader (Size 1). She loves the look with sparkling glitter and they are great for outdoors and on the playground. Easy on and easy off with the handles. They keep her feet dry and don't hold the heat like the Western Chief neoprene boots (those are for winter). These also clean up easily with a little soap and water when they get dirty. Once they have been outgrown, we have found these boots are easy to sell on FB marketplace and fetch a good price.These are an awesome boot and far better quality than cheapo rainboots. You won't regret purchasing these.

These are adorable... However...they stink. Really bad. Like a skunk. We keep them in the garage because they make the house smell so bad. As soon as we opened the box they gave me a headache.

My daughter is a solid size 12 shoe across the board, and I ordered these in a 12. They fit, but not much wiggle room for sure. They'll last through the winter I hope, but if she hits even a short growth burst, these won't last. I love Western Chief boots... and these look FABULOUS. Really strong plastic smell coming out of the box, so let them air out a few days. I'd highly recommend the brand - if you're between sizes, expect a growth spurt or need them to last more than 6 months, order half to full size up (you can always stuff the toe, right?)

We love these boots! My 3 year old daughter got a pair in the spring and wore them even throughout the summer she loves them so much. We bought her a new larger size pair in the fall because it’s all she want to wear and just bought my 1 year old daughter a pair for Christmas. They’re pretty warm and comfortable. We sized half a size up so they have a little room to grow

These boots have no lining and don’t breathe. Somehow after a few wears these suddenly started to smell like a bag of old, rotten ONIONS!! It was nauseating!My daughter doesn’t have stinky feet and takes regular baths, so I don’t know how this can be explained but it was so bad that we tried to clean them and the smell persisted. We had to toss them.We originally got them to go with her Elsa frozen dress and be practical too. They did look cute for Halloween and she loved them - but onions? Whhhhyyyyy???

We live in Seattle. It rains about 6 months of the year so a rainboot is a must. My sons owns 2 pairs; one for colder, wet weather and the Western Chief one for any other days. These are his second pair. I ended getting this sparkly pair because it was temporarily on sale for about 50% off; and they are black, so why not? Anyway, these are a great sensible rainboot for kids. It keeps his feet dry, easy to put on. This is not a fancy boot with extra insulation, but for short trip to and from the car or a short walk around the park, these are perfect. Unless you are on extended outing or in temp below 40 weather, these will keep those little feet warm and dry. My son can wear these all day on warmer rainy days. These are comfortable. I would gladly choose Western Chief boots over any other brand any day. With that being said, Nordstrom carries these too and sometimes they go on sale for really great prices; but they do have more limited selection so I would check out both Amazon and Nordstrom. I just like shopping from Nordstrom because they have a great return policy.

I bought the pink glitter boots for my daughter's 4th birthday and she loved them. My 22 month old was very drawn to them, as well. He kept trying hers on and they were a close fit for him, so I decided to get him his own pair for Xmas. He loves them! Now both kids have glittery feet to go out stomping in mud puddles. We've had an unusually wet winter this year, so it has been super muddy. Both children are enjoying their boots. It's only been a few weeks of wear, but they seem to be of very good quality. Yes, there was a VERY strong rubbery smell when I opened the box, but it does seem to be fading. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

My daughter won't take them off! She loves them. Super cute, and well fitting. We will probably have to buy them again in the next size up when she outgrows them.
