Reaper Orc Berserker with Two Handed Sword (1)

ive been collecting fantasy miniatures since the late 70s. most of my current collection are 1/72nd scale plastic. long ago, the metal minis in 25mm from companies like RalPartha and Grenadier were just a bit bigger than the truer scaled 1/72nd plastic historical figures. scale creep has edged those figures larger and larger over the years. this guy serves as a rather ugly giant (or olog hai with my lotr setting) with my 1/72nd fantasy set. he is as big as the old 25mm scale giants. hes well sculpted, actiony, and will serve well with my collection.

I'd rather paint metal, but the plastic stuff (I think Reaper markets it as "Bones") has as much detail and is arguable easier to clean up spurs, etc. Lots of good detail here, but this miniature was VERY large compared to my old-school 25mm minis I have from 30 years ago. The character I was playing was supposed to be a big bad dude, so it worked out OK, I guess.

As other's have said, he's a bit on the big side. Too big for me to use him as an Earthdawn Orc, but if I add some horns he could be a nice Troll.

was packaged nicely and came in perfect condition. Got to use it in a few games so far and it holds up real nice wish i could give a 10/10 instead ill just have to settle for 5/5.

Nice ORC with a big sword. Good flow in the sculpt and lots of details to paint.
