Fast Forward
I didn’t like the 10 year fast forward at first but by the end of the book I’m loving the grown up version of keatyn chronicles. I like the Easter eggs of their past being revealed throughout the story and can’t wait to see what happens next!

Can’t get enough of these characters!
Oh boy…..things are moving along with Keatyn and Aiden; and Vanessa. Riley, my sweet Riley still is hurting from his split with Ariela. She realizes that she messed things up with Riley all those years ago and is ready to get her life back. Does that include Riley? Read on because you don’t want to miss this! I’m one clicking Power right now since I’m dying to see how this plays out. Ms. Dodd, you really have a special talent for reeling your readers in and not letting them go.

Not normally a fan of serials, but this one hooked me!
Series Review - spoiler freeI am not a fan of serials, but I really enjoyed this one! I was a little skeptical at first, but it didn’t take long to hook me. It’s set up like a television series (season 1 has 6 episodes). It tells the story of many of the characters we met and fell in love with in the Keatyn Chronicles, but season 1 mainly centers around Riley. I loved him in the Keatyn Chronicles, but I really love him now that he’s of age lol.All of the characters in the story added new depth and layers. It really kept it fun and interesting, and full of the drama we expect when we think of Keatyn & company.I read all the episodes together, but I can imagine the anticipation was pretty exciting to those who read them as they were released. They were fun, and what started as, “I will just read one or two episodes and go to bed” ended a couple hours later with season 1 completed. As with tv series, Jillian has stated this serial will get new seasons based on sales. Please buy this! I NEED A SEASON 2! With that said, she doesn’t leave us with any major cliffhangers or anything… just desperately wanting to live in this world a little longer.*For those who haven’t read the Keatyn Chronicles, there are slight spoilers in this series because you will know who ended up together (not that I ever questioned it when reading the series). I’m speaking with a biased point of view b/c I have read the Keatyn Chronicles, but I think you can enjoy these without reading the previous series. When a character was introduced we were given a little background of who they were. *

A Seriously Perfect Follow Up To The Keatyn Chronicles
Season One, the first entire book in the Captive Films series, was fantastic. This series follows the Keatyn Chronicles with a lot of the same characters, just quite a few years later. They run Captive Films. They are extremely successful. They are extremely hot. You can buy these by the season (there are six), or if you're smart (which I hope you are) you'll just buy the entire first season and read it like a novel. There is a whole lot of drama, but not like what was in the Keatyn Chronicles. It's not anxiety attack city, it's "Hey, we're older now, still partying, but we have jobs and sex and stuff." These are definitely more new adult than young adult, but still have the magical feel of the previous series. This series is well worth the five it's getting. There are so many stories in this novel surrounding the characters, and while it could get confusing if you hadn't read the Keatyn Chronicles (you need to), the different lives these stories follow are done wonderfully well. So many sad and surprising things happened in the years that have passed, and the author does a great job of giving you an overview, while leaving a lot of stuff out at the same time. This basically means that I'm dying for the next book to come out (DYING!!!!)!!!! You don't get any answers about Riley and Ariela, or Dawson and Vanessa, or Knox and Jennifer, but you do see a surprising marriage between Annie and someone I won't mention, and a love affair that lasted between two other characters I won't mention either. March can't come soon enough for the start of the next "season" and you can currently only pre-order it on iBooks (which didn't stop me from pre-ordering it, so I suggest you get on that).

Relationships don't mature past high school first love. Dialogue driven book.
This reads like a scripted TV soap for college-age/young adults who believe high school was the best time in their life. The characters and plot predictable. By the end, I was certain I had just read the prequel to the "Hangover" movie with a slight plot twist. That said, I enjoyed the rapid-fire dialogue which drives this story about high school sweethearts (which too many of the characters are). I would rate the TV script 4 stars, and the book 3 stars because we need more depth and nuance instead of just reactionary dialogue. Basing all of the true love relationships on high school is overly simplistic, too. It's a fun read if the ADHD reactions don't bother you and the men are portrayed with the same maturity they have/lack from high school. There are sexy scenes, but I wanted a bit more of a build to show maturity and restraint.I liked it, didnt love it, and it's too predictable beside the fact that I didn't respect Riley, the main character, enough to continue to the next book.

Amazing Series
I really enjoyed this book, it really started slow. I started getting into it with Riley and Ariela's first scene together.I really enjoyed seeing all the Eastbrooke kids in the future. Seeing how their doing, their lives. Everything. I love reading things like that. They all had great chemistry together. Its amazing how people can change so much in 10 years.Although I didn't like this as much as the first 7. It was still reallly good. I really liked the stalking part of the first 7 it made the books much better. But I am definately going to keep reading. Because I still LOVE all the characters. I cant wait to see where they go next.My heart did break over a couple of people in the future. Such sad ending for a couple people. But overall I really enjoyed this. Still a wonderful story.

Not a good book, scattered and convoluted
Sorry to say I did not like the book at all. Filler after filler and too many perspectives from everyone. I could not even figure out who the book was about! Riley!!! He has less than 20 per cent of the book. I did not connect with any character...

Hooked!!
Well, damn you, Jillian Dodd. Now you've gone and sucked me into another one of your worlds and there's no way back. Knew this would happen! I freaking LOVED this book. I loved all the different pov's, loved catching up with my fav characters from The Keatyn Chronicles now that they are older and (supposedly) wiser. Riley disappointed me a lot but he is still so heartbroken so I cut him some slack. That ending was brilliantly awful and there's no way I can't continue. I need Riely and Ariela to get their HEA as they so deserve it. Knox is a scream. Still love, love Aiden, and it was great to catch up with Dawson and Dallas too. Aw, I have all the feels.I really liked how this was structured into different scenes and love the Hollywood setting. If you have read TKC then this is a must read. If you haven't I recommend starting with that series first.

beautifully addictive
These books were unlike anything I had encountered previously... they are set out like a tv series with seasons and episodes which was strange but really good.I haven't read the Keatyn Chronicles so I wasn't sure what I was getting myself in to and hadn't met the characters before.I love that you get POV's from each of the characters and each character has their own thing going on so your getting many stories instead of just one.I am absolutely addicted to these books... I read them one after the other and could have cried when I realised I had read them all and needed to wait for more. The characters I love most - Riley and Ariela... They're story is definitely my favourite
