It works very well and saves a lot of time. It does make a mess but so does the manual knife method. The cubes are pretty uniform. It takes a little practice to get them the right depth. There is nothing to guide you on this. I would recommend buying as it is MUCH quicker.

If you are a watermelon or melon lover you need this in your life. I had my watermelon cut down and in a bowl in minutes. Just cut it in quarters and went to town! Done and you can adjust the size of your pieces by choosing how deep you cut! Definitely worth buying.
