Stalion Holster Case Belt Clip with Kickstand for iPhone 6 6s (4.7" Inch)(Jet Black)

3.5 Stars. I've tried many different brands of these holsters with a clip. None of them last very long, but that's the nature of plastic clips with springs Each brand seems to have minor variations. This model's pluses are(1) the protective lip around the top and bottom of the phone extends slightly further than some other brands, in theory offering slightly more protection. The downside is that it is a bit harder to depress the buttons on the side(2) in addition to the kick-stand on the phone case itself, the holster's clip can be used as a flip stand(3) the texture/material is plastic with ridges and a very slightly rubbery feel that does make the phone fairly non-slip. This is better than some models I've tried.The negatives are(1) The kick stand is narrower than the cut-out in which it lies. This lets it slide back and forth a little and the feeling in your hand is very annoying, as is the slight clicking sound. It just feels like something is broken (even though it isn't). Most other models I've tried have kickstands that fit more accurately into the cut-out.(2) Kind of a mixed pro/con here. The bottom of the holster had a tab that prevents you from accidentally putting the phone in so forcefully that it shoots out the bottom (this has happened in other models). However, that tab also blocks the charging port, so the phone cannot be charged while in the holster. But perhaps the safety the tab provides is worth it.I'm not sure overall there is much to distinguish one brand of case/holster from another, but this one is an acceptable choice. (But see update below.)Update: 1 year later. By 9 months, the fold-out stand of the case broke. At 12 months, the holster cracked in two places and the case also disintegrated at the thin spot where there are holes for the buttons. I paid $7.00 and frankly, I guess that's about what I should expect. But I have had other case/holster combinations that have at least lasted a couple of years. I'm not particularly hard on them.

I bought this cover because I tend to go for mountain biking in Nepal and wanted to have a cover that will not only protect my phone but something I could clip on to my backpack's chest strap, so that I have easy access and also for it to not fall out of my pocket. The case has a solid build and I mean that literally. It is very rigid which is a good thing and a bad thing, depending on the user. I tried to put my iPhone 6s into the case but I had a lot of difficulty, the plastic it has been made out of it extremely hard which make it difficult for the button to slide in--you have to literally have to try and stretch the sides of the case to make sure it doesn't damage your phone. And getting the phone out of the case is even harder. So if you are a person like me, who tends to switch his phone cover weekly, it will take you a solid 10 min to get the cover off.That said, this would be the perfect cover for those who tend to keep one cover on until it breaks apart and works in construction or does a lot of adventure sports, or tends to drop their phone on a regular basics then this is the cover for you. The build quality is good and will definitely protect your phone; however, I am not so sure I can say the same thing for the kickstand. The kickstand is nice but its a bit wobbly and doesn't have a flush finish to it but I don't think it will break off easily.So the bottomline is, it's a good cover sturdy cover but extremely hard to remove from your phone.

This is a pretty good case for the price. Not sure how much it will protect the phone. It probably could not withstand a drop. They advertise this case as having a rubberized texture when it really does not. The finish is textured but is more of a hard plastic. I bought this case because I find the iPhone 6 difficult to hold with its rounded edges and smooth surface. I was hoping the rubberized texture would make it much easier to hold and less likely to drop. I don't really need the belt clip but it does work nicely, easy to get in and out and even rotates with click stops 360 degrees. The phone feels secure even when the belt clip is rotated upside down or sideways. This does not come with a screen protector so you may want to purchase one separately.You may have noticed that the phone does not lay flat on the table because the camera lens sticks out slightly. This is very annoying if you are trying to type to have the phone rocking back and forth. Adding the case will leave the camera lens recessed, thus protecting the lens and allowing the phone to lie flat. The kickstand feature is great, allow the phone to stand at a nice angle in both portrait and landscape positions. The kickstand feels like the weakest part of the whole case, although it folds flat when not in use.

I had to wait longer than expected to get this case due to some back order issues but I finally received it. I'm really happy with the case. It fits perfectly and protects the iPhone well. Several points: The inside of the case that hangs on your belt has a lining that protects the screen when you put it back in the case. That was a nice feature that I didn't realize that it had. I also like the little kick stand which works in both a vertical or horizontal orientation. Didn't think that I would use that feature but it but I did when I was upgrading to 8.1. It allowed me to easily see the upgrade progress with the phone sitting on the desk while I was doing other things. My biggest concern was how slippery the iPhone was without a case. Was terrified that I would drop it. The case has a very nice texture that allows you to securely hold it without fear of dropping it. One more thing; all the buttons are easily accessible with the phone in its shell and the shell in the holster. The charging cord will attach without having to remove the shell from the phone. The headphone jack is also accessible when it is in the holster but you won't be able to attach the charging cord with the phone in the shell and the shell in the holster. I would definitely buy this again.
