If you work with the Orisha then you need this book, plain and simple.There are more than enough praise poems and words of power to fuel the process of actually making real connections with the orisha.While opinions on this author are varied, that is besides the point.These are authentic Orikis. This book has actually existed for a long time as a sort of holy grail amoung practicioners as the source of prayers. It was photocopied and passed around for a long time. Many of the Orikis one finds in other books come from this collection.Again, if you pray and work the orisha you need this book.

This is a helpful book for those not familiar with orikis and the Yoruba language with good translations, worth having in one’s library
