Android Impetus Skeleton Automatic Watch AD572ARG

This is the third different Android watch I have tried and it is just the right size. The previous 2 had much thicker cases, 15 & 19mm's, both too large on my wrist. I have to say I am very pleased with the Impetus line, and the orange face is much nicer looking in person, it is metallic, you can't really tell from photos here. I did dress the watch up by changing the band to a solid stainless steel link band, I can wear to work now and can switch back to the rubber if I want a casual look. So far no issues with the mechanism, I wear the watch daily, it has not stopped once. Great intro watch to see if you are going to like mechanicals or Android.

When I opened the box it was more than expected. TV and Internet don't do this watch justice. I have had this watch for a couple of months and get compliments every time I wear it. Keeps great time, looks great in the dark. The skeletonized movement is awesome looking.I now have four Android watches (in two months) and the Impetus was my first. I have never been more satisfied with a watch maker at any cost. For the price range of Android Watches you can't go wrong. Try it, you will like it.

I got the grey version of this watch and the coating on the face is amazing. The watch changes color and is very unusual. Wing is a genius and his creations never cease to amaze. the one negative about this watch is that it takes a long time to "wind" the automatic watch so that is stays running. the watch stops repeatedly until I have worn it for a while. I frequently have to set the time when it GET to work because the watch starts/stops for the first 30 minutes I wear it. I don't have this issue with other automatics in my collection. However, don't let that prevent you from purchasing the watch, it is really a good looking watch and keeps great time once it is running. If you plan of wearing it every day, or keep it on a watch winder you will have no problems.

Warranty restrictions virtually preclude being able to return for refund. Out-of-box the band is huge and would have to be reduced greatly in length to fit my wrist and I weigh ~220 pounds. Also return is voided if you wear it. After trying it without wearing it [leaving it on my desk], it ran down and stopped in about 30 hours. I resorted to winding it daily, but I forgot one day and it stopped again. In these days of self-wind and automatic winders, it's a step backward IMHO. On top of that, in less than one month the stem fell off while winding it. In less than 30 days, $100+ down the drain. Buy something else.
