These are not true or square. I bought this to add a decorative touch under a mail box. I wish I could cheat it out from the bottom and lift the angle, but it would look awful if it wasn't snug against the post. So to be clear, this will cause what you put it under, to look like it is falling down. My guess on this, is that the plastic has shrunk and pulled the ends in toward each other,Also, it is pretty soft, so as I tightened the screw in at the top, in hopes to suck it in a little more and lift the angle, the screw head just sunk in deeper. I took it off and covered the hole, from the screw, with epoxy and that helped to make the screw hole more ridged. I would describe the material to be stronger than ridged Styrofoam but still pretty soft. If it breaks though, it will be by me getting so angry from losing an entire evening messing with it, that I smash it into tiny bits and mail it back to whoever made it.If your project doesn't require this to be square, it might be fine. I should say that it looks clean and free of blemishes. If the intended space for this is square, you would have about a quarter of an inch gap at the ends.

Although this item it's pretty, I see why it's inexpensive compared to other ones in a similar size. Like the other reviewer stated, this is not square. I ordered 2 to put under my range hood and I definitely had to sand it down. I wrapped a 100 grit sand paper around a 2x4. I got it as close as possible and attached it to another piece of lumber to beef it up. I then used caulk to seal any gaps and spray painted it. It came out beautifully. If you are willing to put in the work it is definitely worth buying.

I love the way they look in the corners of the opening from my living room to breakfast room. They provide a nice, sweet, compliment generating architectural detail. I love corbels!

This is something you buy because they look nice - they are cheaply made, one arrived broken. But they look nice

It looks exactly like pictured. I painted to match my kitchen and it is used to hang fruit basket.Sturdy and looks great!
