Risk redo
Not a professional but have tiles enough projects and know this is awful to use. Even following strict instructions once tile set there is give in the material to make the tile shift thus grout cracks over time. Would never use again!

Great Uncoupling Mat
I install tile professionally and the RedGard uncoupling mat is my top choice for tile underlayment! It is easy to work with and creates an incredible bond for your tile. -you don't ever want to take tile back off of this stuff. Believe me; I have. It is waterproof and provides a great crack isolation membrane. I am a huge fan of Schluter products but I choose this over Ditra any day. I like a 1/4" trowel for this membrane.

Stay Away!
This product is total garbage. I had enough Ditra to complete half a room. I bought the Redgard to do the last 45sq ft. The redgard would not adhere to the mud. I tried everything, but I could not get it to stay down. More mud, less mud, thick mud, thin mud... the same mud, trowel, and technique worked just fine on the Ditra, but when I finally gave up and tore the redgard off the floor, there were mud stains on only about 50% of the backing.
