Glad that I decided to go with this computer and seller. I work from home and decided to get a more affordable desktop after my laptop started having issues. It was delivered days earlier than expected and came with simple setup instructions, troubleshooting tips and warranty / seller contact info. The tower is short and compact, not heavy or bulky and the monitor is awesome, sturdy with a square shaped screen. It came with a few programs already on it - I appreciated Libre (similar to Word) - likely free to download but a new find for me. Yes the mouse is junky, it didn't work well for me and the keyboard is ehhh but these are non-issues.

Nice but cd rom isn’t working

I am not a huge gamer and I’m not a huge PC guy. But my son saved all his money from his bday party to get his own personal computer. He had a little over $100 so I told him we would put in the rest. And we wanted a basic computer that could get him online so he could do his homework (he’s in 4th grade) and he also wanted to play Minecraft on his PC. So we downloaded the game and kept getting an error from Minecraft. Apparently the “built in graphics” card is unable to process the game fast enough so it crashes. The worst part is seeing your 10 year old son look at you after waiting weeks for his own personal computer and all you can say is “Sorry son, your new computer that you spent all your money on is not good enough to play the one game you wanted to play.” I feel like the worst father ever. Anyways, warning for everyone. Other than that it’s okay. Keyboard is cheap and display is from Dell even the PC is HP. Mouse was junk so I had to go buy him a new one the next day.

UPDATE: Customer service is great and quick. Let me keep the damaged monitor while the shipped a new one over night, however it came and is not the size I had ordered it's much smaller. Very Frustrating experience so far.Received the set up quickly but everything was filthy. It seems to work so far but my monitor came damaged. Package it's self was fine monitor arrived with discoloration once on as if the screen had been hit. It also was covered in dust, scratched up, and had smudges all over the screen. It's apparent ir wasn't handled with care or stored well prior to ordering. I had even upgraded the monitor from the basic that came with the bundle.

We are pretty mac based but we needed an affordable PC in our screen printing shop at the area where we mix Pantone inks daily. Most Pantone mixing software is still PC based so we didn't need anything fancy or brand new. This is exactly what we needed, extremely simple to open and set up, and looks brand new! Definitely recommended.

For the value, this is honestly a pretty good deal, with the exception of a few pieces of bad hardware. I bought the computer with a larger monitor to help my writing. I had previously been using a laptop for the last two years of graduate school. No longer! This computer is great for day-to-day activities, like browsing the internet, streaming, answering emails, etc. Others have stated that it isn't good for gaming, which might be true for current generation gaming, but it can run older games. So yes, you can even use it for gaming. That being said, the mouse that came with this computer was a piece of garbage. It was super buggy and it had serious drift regardless of whether or not it was being used. I got rid of it and used the wireless mouse I was using with my laptop. The four USB slots in the front of the computer do not work. Thankfully all five of them in the back do. Finally, the wireless adapter that came with the computer was also bad. It was giving me 1 mbps upload/download speeds. I bought a new one, and now it's working just fine. If I had to buy it again I might look elsewhere first, but I am, overall, still pretty happy with this purchase one month in.
