we bought these for children in need crazy hair day they are fab hair chalks so easy and quick to use, mess free and they worked brilliantly on my sons hair and we’re so vibrant (he has blonde hair). Also tried them out on his mate with very dark hair and I was pleasantly surprised! Washed out with ease though the red chalk has left a very faint tinge on his blonde hair but I’m sure it’ll fade in a few days. Nothing major!. Packaging for the gloves could do with a rethink though as it does look like a load of condoms in the box and I did have to do a double take. Also if you’re buying this as a gift take note of the option for it to be sent in amazon packaging as if not it does come just as the box itself with a large delivery label over the box so it would be spoilt for the recipient.

I was a bit worried about using these hair colouring pens, but actually nothing to be worried about. They were easy to use and gave fairly good colour coverage (noticeable, but not bright, bright like a spray colour would give) easy to apply by rubbing pen onto strands of hair. Didn't leave hair sticky or nasty, and the best bit - they washed out easily!! Phew! If any down sides, I would of liked them more vibrant and the gloves that you get with them are in packets that resemble condom packets. Very strange. The glove's are cheap ones; like the ones you get at a petrol station, but they do the job. I'd give this a good 7/10 for easy use and easy washing out, just needs to be a bit brighter once in hair and better gloves that aren't in condom style packets. But overall I give this a thumbs up.

I bought these for my 4 year old. She has light/medium blonde hair and mostly they worked great on her. Most colours were fab, but both the purples could hardly be seen at all. She wanted rainbow hair and was very happy with the results. We dampened her hair slightly, applied the colours and dried with the hair dryer. They do make the hair feel a bit weird to touch. She wanted to leave it on over night and we did find the blue and green started to rub off slightly on her neck and back but not too much. It all washed off her body and hair very very easy with just a normal shampoo wash. My son has medium brown hair and we tried them on his hair, but could barely see the colours at all on him so wouldn't recommend for darker hair. I didn't need the gloves provided and my hands were fine, not much went on them and washed off easily.

Beautiful colours even though I dried it with a hair dryer on the nighttime ready for my daughters and sons school event in the morning it had a very greasy claggy feeling to it. It washes out after first wash and didn’t stain hair which is brilliant.

Very impressed with these pens. They were easy to use and went on the hair really well . Lots of different colours too. Didn’t use the glitter though so cannot comment on that .The colours lasted all day and I was slightly worried that it wouldn’t wash out easy but it did with water and a bit of shampoo. I would definitely recommend these.

My 9 and half yr old great granddaughter was over the moon when these arrived on the 28th March but she didn’t try them out till that wkend due to being at school! She was very pleased with the results and used a old pillowcase in case of staining; the only problem was next day when she tried to brush/comb her hair as it was a bit clogged up, but we think that maybe one side she’d put dye chalk a bit thicker as the other side was fine! At least she will know next time, but she’s eager to try different colours this wkend!

The quality for the price really is excellent. I purchased for my niece who has long, light brown and blonde hair - the colours showed up vivid and strong with very little product at all. Needless to say she loved them and her little brother even ended up with a blue mohawk! Colour washed out with no staining on both light hair and have since used time and time again including on their friends who have had same experience.One star loss for 'presentation' of questionable packaging on the gloves!

Right firstly I haven't actually tried these yet so I can't comment on how good the hair chalk is however I am not very impressed with the fact the gloves look like condoms concidering this is a Christmas present for my 13 year old daughter this is very inappropriate, hillerious if it was for myself but not for a 13 year old girl! Secondly and most anoyingly the package came with stickers stuck all over the actual box I've tried to peel the stickers of but as u can see in the picture it hasn't worked so I now need to spend more money buying a pencil case or something to put the hair chalks in as the box is ruined. Why on earth they stuck stickers on the front of the box i don't no! Really annoyed! The actual hair chalks look nice but overall not impressed at the moment!
