Bullhide Montecarlo unisex-adult Felt Collection Kingman 4x Premium Wool Western Cowboy Hat, 4" Brim

Really good quality hat for the price I got it. Definitely should've got rid of the static beforehand because it gathers a lot of stray hair and dust. But my dad said he takes a slightly damp rag and wipes it down.My only issue with the hat is the quality of the band around it. Not a huge factor, but something I should bring up. It isn't a belt or a ribbon, it's felt as well with a fake buckle. Thankfully, it's gently glued on so it's easy to cut or peel off and I replaced mine with a nice leather buckle.Other than that, it's pretty nice. Would recommend.

**Edit: Gave this hat another star because it is still holding up after 2 years. It stands up to minor brushing and only has a few minor wear spots. Haven't done any reshaping or had it really wet. But yeah, basically other than the hat band itself being not in my taste- I have found most hats from the internet have similarly cheap charm type buckles etc. I just rip them off and put on nice hat bands. So yeah this is a good hat if you don't mind the simple cheap style hat band or plan to change it. Honestly unless you go in someplace or specify the band this is similar to what you will get. So yeah, I was too harsh on my first review. It was my first hat not bought in person and just not my style. But it is still going and yeah, would buy again.-----------Had to get this hat ordered in a pinch because I only brought one of my wool cowboy hats up north with me and I need it for a party next week, but sadly it was eaten up by wool bugs. Granted it isn't wool season and I have my straw hat, but I need a black wool for this party. But anyway, I ordered this one lured in by some wording like "premium" and "fancy" and chose this one other another similarly priced one... however, this is felt wool and feels really stiff and fake/crafty compared to my other wool hats that are soft and feel like they won't rub/flake off. Granted nothing is coming off of this one and I could just not be used to it's style. However, the band and "fancy" buckle is a different story. There is glue squeeze out around the hat band and the "fancy" buckle looks like a little girl's charm bracelet trinket. It is silver and gold colored and sparkly with jewels. Definitely not fancy... or even plain... goes into the fake, crafty category to me. I am going to be adding my hat band on anyway, but I reckon others buying this might not be expecting the buckle to look like this. So maybe changing "premium" to "felt" and just eliminate "fancy" altogether. However, your sizing information is very helpful and I appreciate when listings list all the measurements of the brim the peak the size etc. Feels true to size, though I haven't worn a hat this low in awhile and I think I will order one with more room next time so it feels more secure on my big head and I don't have to hold it while I am working outside or such. But that is a me issue and not on them because they listed it and I decided to try it and just prefer more head room. But I am curious how this felt will hold up on the hat. I am a bit afraid to pull hairs and leaves and wood out of it when it gets stuck on it because I am worried how it will hold up. And hopefully I can get this hatband off and the glue off carefully and put my hatband from my bug eaten hat on there before this party next week... we shall see how it goes...

For the price it’s a great hat. It is hard but I was expecting that . I personally don’t like to spend a lot of money on my hats bc I don’t treat them well. I compete riding horses and I don’t care if my hat falls off and gets dirty bc I know I didn’t spend a fortune on it. I would recommend this hat.

This hat is worth so much more than the selling price. I wear a 7 1/4, so that is what i ordered. The hat was slighty snug, but 20 minutes in the hat stretcher (I literally timed it) made it perfect. I used some steam and slightly altered the shaping of the brim and crown to my liking.(personal preference, I do this to all of my hats, even my Stetson)I was absolutely amazed at the quality and craftsmanship of it. It is beautiful, VERY well made and worth every cent I paid for it. To be truly honest, the make of it is remarkable and it shouldn't be sold at the cheap price I paid for it. If this hat were over $200, it would still be worth every cent. I recommend anyone buy this hat. I haven't had it out in the rain yet. But I feel confident that it would do very well. It is thick felt, soft to the touch, and holds up against hot Georgia days. I get more compliments on this hat than any other I own (and I own a Stetson (which is also a beautiful hat)). If you are looking for rugged beauty, quality, and a hat that can stand up to heat and wear, GET THIS HAT! I now have four of these Bullhide Montecarlos and I can’t say enough about them. Perfect ranch hat and durable. Anybody that says otherwise is full of it. Bought them for all my wranglers to wear and they love them too

Nice hat. Size was way to big. I own a lot of hats and all have been 7 1/4 with a snug fit. This hat however was way too loose. Had to insert self adhesive foam to make it fit right. Would have got 5 stars if not for the size issue.
