GUM Go-Betweens Proxabrush Refills Moderate [612] 8 Each

I just keep replacing these before I run out. Never want to be without them. They are a bit pricey and wish they cost less but they are an excellent product...actually, in my opinion best item ever for cleaning between teeth. Be sure you buy appropriate size given amount of space between your teeth. Small is too small for me. I find medium and wide best but item does not come in mixed sizes so be sure you select the correct size for your teeth. I floss also but start my brushing-process with these. You need the tool they fit into as well. but once that is purchased, it lasts a very long time. I find using that tool and these brush inserts far better than the shorter stand-alone type. My dental hygienist is always complementing me on the excellent care I give to my teeth and I believe much as to do with using this brush technique for between teeth and an electric toothbrush for over all brushing .

Since I cannot find these in any store, I was happy to find them on Amazon. They are cheaper on Amazon and ship quickly. I have used them for years because they really clean between my teeth well.

I LOVE these brush refills. I initially received them through my Periodontist,to clean inbetween my teeth,and keep my numbers down at my cleanings. I switched to a different brush-the mini ones that don't snap into a handle, and my numbers increased. Went back to these,and my numbers went back down. Yeah! They are a lot cheaper than the drug store,and I like having a supply on hand. I use this size for my back teeth that have always been my "problem areas" and I use the Moderate size for the rest of my teeth.I use the Proxabrushes after mouth rinse, then brush with toothbrush,then floss.They work very well.Thanks Amazon!

I knew what to expect when I ordered the Proxabrush refills since I have used the Proxabrush for a number of years. The refills come in tight, moderate and wide sizes. The wide is to get between teeth that have the most distance between them such as molars and premolars. The "tight" version is more for front teeth. I had never used the moderate so I thought I'd try them. As expected, they fill the gap between the wide and the tight versions.Everyone's mouth is a bit different, so if you've never tried using a Proxabrush before, your best bet would be to order the handle which comes with a sample of all three size brushes. I find the Proxabrush very useful for dislodging pieces of food right after eating when you don't want to take the time to do a complete flossing or brushing. So, at times, the Proxabrush may be all you need to get a few stubborn pieces of food out from between your teeth. At night, I use the Proxabrush first, then the floss and then the toothbrush. It's not a very expensive proposition to try one. The Proxabrush handle accepts all three sizes and the individual brushes can last 2 weeks or more depending upon how often you use them. Inserting the different sizes into the handle is a snap. However, if you think you'll need two different size brushes available at all times, it's best to have two handles. When you affix the brushes to the handle, the metal insert end of the brush becomes bent in the process, which is normal. Although you can remove it and replace it, doing that too many times may cause the tip you insert to break. That will shorten the life of the actual brush part and it's the only reason I rated this with 4 stars rather than 5. If you think you'll always use just one size brush, the tips will easily last as I indicated above. If you need 2 different sizes, get a second handle.

My dentist have given me samples of these and these really leave my teeth and gums clean and healthy. Whenever I go to the dentist these days, they find nothing to fix and so I only get my professional teeth cleaning from them and that's it.Using this helps me save money on dental bills, not to mention any pain from getting anything in my mouth worked on.What a great invention. Product is made really well. The wire that the bristles are on is sturdy whereas the Oral B brand is weak and is not very strong, thus making it bend excessively.

I have used the Butler Gum Prozabrush for several years, and it is much better and more effective than flossing. I recently went to have my teeth cleaned and the dentist said, although I am 85, that my teeth are perfect. Buy this system for it is very good but hard to find in most drug stores. CVS and Walgreen does not have it but I believe you can get it at Walmart.

Not quite what I was looking for. I've used this brush technique for several years and am quite satisfied with the result - and so is my dentist. The availability of these refills seems to have become more scarce in my area (Dallas, TX) so I thought I would do some on-line shopping. First, I wasn't sure of the exact size I had been using and I know now that the one I purchased was not it.The reason for the three stars - as opposed to five - is because it's difficult on line, to discern the proper size "for me". Also, the price of these jewels. There are not enough in the package to justify the nearly $6 charge (I wasn't aware of the higher cost until I discussed it with the money person in my household).So, sorry Amazon, if I continue to find them unavailable locally, I'll need to switch to a different brand of brush, to something more readily available. ~
