Not Bad, for the price, BUT there are Shortcomings
I bought this over the Cuisanart DBMS-8 because of price and experience with the Cuisanart. I wish I had gotten another Cuisanart.DOES IT GRIND WELL? YesSHORTCOMINGS:1. Bean holder does not affix to the top; it just sits on top (no screw or clamp) BIG problem if in a place where it could be accidentally knocked.2. Lid on bean holder fits tightly, BUT given previous remark it is hard to remove without lifting bean holder.3. The cup holding holding the ground coffee, while attractively designed to integrate into the graceful styling and fitted tightly like the other components, is a pain to get out. I have no fingernails; therefore, I have nothing to help dislodge it.Overall, I wish I had gone with the Cuisanart. The problem I had with its switch failing twice was no doubt caused by my sister who probably held it down the entire time it was grinding. (She can't follow directions.) Cuisanart replaced it in a flash the first time. The 2nd time I didn't have the heart to request another replacement. I just waited it out until my sister left.

OK for the price.....
The Soat XFK-B900 works OK for the price, but its not built all that well. Its is just a cheap kitchen appliance though, don't forget. The hopper just slips into place and doesn't lock, so when you take the tight lid off of it to refill it you can pull it off, with a resulting mess of beans everywhere.Needs the occasional tap to keep the coffee beans flowing into the grinder. The ground coffee hopper needs some sort of handle to grasp to pull it out.Other than that, the $18 I paid for it is fine. What do you expect of that price? When it dies or breaks in a year or so, trash it and get another. Of course if I had lots of money or wanted to use one professionally, I would opt for a professional machine. $$$$

What garbage! Stay away from these!!!
I have had this grinder for about a month and I hate it. You have to fight with it to feed coffee beans into the grinder from the hopper. It makes a mess every time I grind the beans and what should take two minutes turns into a 20 minute ordeal. I will NEVER buy anything from this company again, it is complete garbage and is close to being used as target practice.
