Makes for a good display stand peice.
Bought this for my gen 4 G17 and it does not fit... like other reviews it squeezes the frame to such a degree that it causes the slide to bind with the frame of the gun. Might try to modify it to see if I can maybe shave off some material to help it not squeeze so tight. You can actually see a visible gap that appears as your sliding the gun in between the slide and the frame.

illegal for most people
The product should inform people that putting a vertical grip on a pistal makes it illegal without certain licenses in the US. I believe this product would make a pistal an SBR which is a regulated gun by the NFA.
