Dickies Girl Junior's Original 4 Pocket Skinny Leg Pant

For the past year I’ve been making my way back to Dickies, and have been trying different styles and sizes. Oi vey, the sizes. Most Amazon reviewers I find don’t get sizing and I think don’t understand the difference between women’s misses sizing and juniors. At first I was ordering larger sizes because the reviews say to. Order a size or two up is the general consensus. This was completely not the case for me. First I ordered 9’s, well after much trial, error, and returns (and a few pairs of pants I’m now stuck with at no fault but my own), it turns out I’m actually a 3, which is the juniors size I wear in every other brand. In misses or women’s I usually run a 0-2, and that’s how juniors vs regular women’s clothing works. These are juniors. If you are confused, don’t consult Amazons size chart, go directly to the manufacturers. Click on the pants you want on their website, and go from there because Dickies makes both misses and juniors pants, some of which are the same styles.Either way these are timeless, durable pants and I’m so happy to have found the perfect ones for me!

Let me start out with saying these pants fit perfectly, as long as they send you the correct size. I have ordered these from Amazon the seller. I ordered them 5 times over the span of 2 years. They last a long time my job is just very hard on my pants. I always order my size 3 and get a normal size 3. Height 5'4 and weight 115. They fit perfectly. This last two times they have been sending me a size 3/26. It is very disappointing because they good 3 inches longer in length and the waist size is wider as well. So needless to say, they don't fit me. They need to update the listing or something. You also can't even find them on the Dickies website.

The pockets are weird. They come all the way to the side seam of the pants and they are very small.

These pants were the only uniform pants I could find this time of year to replace the Americam Eagle pants my daughter wears (incredible fade plus slight weight gain). My daughter really likes them, but I am very glad I washed them in hot and dried them in the dryer before hemming!!! They shrunk consideably and so I have ordered two more in the next size up. They still fit more comforable than the AE pants she was wearing, but not as comfortable as she wanted and as when she tried them on before washing. I'm calling it "shrunk half a size". Be warned!

The pants fit well and are cute for "work" khakis. True to size. I'm 5'8" , 140lbs, and 29" waist. I ordered a size 9. My only complaint is the listing description is incorrectly listed as 33" Inseam. They arrived and are labeled as a 29" inseam. Luckily they still fit since I needed to wear them the next day.

I liked these a lot - nice and thick material and solid-looking construction. (and even though they say 'lowrider' I didn't find them creepily low, it was a good rise.) However I had hoped they'd fit me based on other reviews that suggested I not be put off by the juniors label. I am not a junior, and usually wear a 14 in pants so I though the 15 in these might fit. They were way too small so I sent them back. This might be an obvious outcome for some, but since I was foolhardy enough to give it a try, I thought I'd comment on it in case it saves someone else the hassle!

Durable material. Nice cut. A bit long, a tad big on the waist and hip for a 15 year old girl who is 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 100 lbs but hoping she’ll grow into it. Will definitely buy again.
