Mehru Lip Dye, Natural Herbal Lip Stain - Plum Fairy

Once upon a time, Max Factor made a liquid lip tint called Rosewater Lip Blush, and it was my perfect lipcolor. But it was discontinued ages ago, and I've been looking for the perfect replacement ever since. This is the closest I've found yet. This stuff is great. The swatch pictured doesn't do it justice. In the bottle, it's a shocking, intense fuchsia pink, which made me wary - I'm super pale, so I can't pull off intense colors. But applied, it's a wonderful sheer strawberry pink tint. Buildable in terms of color depth, and it doesn't smear or come off, and best of all, I can't *feel* it. It's not like lipbalm or lipstick, where you have the sensation of something coating your lips, which is something I've never been able to handle. I'm going to order more colors.

I am LOVING the Mehru lip stains. They are completely fabulous. Long-lasting, beautiful shades, non-drying, I have purchased several and have been happy with every single one. I find that they last at least 4 hours, some longer. I adore lip stains. I am wildly busy during the day and don't have time to worry about re-applying lipstick constantly. My job as a social worker requires constant conversation. The Mehru lip stains last through conversation, meals, and drinks. Highly recommended.

So far this is the best lip dye but I think it should be cheaper or no shipping; I would order it again since I've already bought 3 other colors in the past; It stays on longer than any other lip stain and the bottle have a lot in it and a little goes a long way.

I had hoped to only apply once a day, but it does come off when you eat. However, I now use it as rouge vs. lipstick! Works great! Thanks!

This is a great product I love that is all natural and the stains really do stay on your lips all day. My problem with this product is none of the color swatches match the color in the bottle. I have contacted the manufacturer and it's US suppliers asking for samples which they currently do not do. I am willing to pay at least $1 for my sample. I will update my review to 5 stars when they start offering samples to their customers. I cannot afford to buy every color to find out which one is right for my skin tone. I encourage others to ask for samples whether it be on Amazon or contacting the manufacturer directly.

Love the company their lipstick last especially if you don’t eat. The color lightens nicely to a rosette natural. I use a dab of water not drenched dab than apply.

Color is very pretty.
