Best you'll find
I've been using these for about a month, since my usual brand vanished off the market and I love them. I have nerve damage following a horrible case of shingles a few years ago, but I am not about to get into the painkiller thing. I have tried everything out there and have settled on capsaicin patches and TENS treatments. This has done me just fine for nearing 3 years now and I highly recommend this approach. The patches peel easy, stick very well and last as much as 14 hours in my experience. This brand also has a menthol effect to it for those who have a problem with the capsaicin burn. This is a very effective and economical product for those who have chronic pain in areas where a patch can be applied

HORRIFIC PAIN IN REMOVAL!
Holy Pain! Removing this patch was one of the most painful experiences I've had in a long time, and I recently burned my hand with boiling water. Granted, I have some sensitivity due to my chronic pain illness, but this is definitely way beyond normal. It's like removing an extra thin, floppy and stretchy bandaid that's 50X larger, with 100X stronger adhesion, which literally takes off hair and skin with it.I began trying to peel it off my lower back bit by bit, but every single centimeter was causing so much continuous pain that I eventually had to rip the rest off in one go, and I screamed at the top of my lungs. It hurt so bad and it still does! This product is horrific! As far as pain relief goes, this patch does the bare minimum, yet it causes a lot of itchiness that you can't really scratch. I barely felt any warmth or tingling or numbing, but the peppermint scent is strong, so I could smell it for hours. When I touched the outside of my shirt, the smell got onto my fingers and stayed there, even though I wasn't directly touching the patch. I wouldn't recommend wearing this patch in public due to the smell, or wearing it at all for that matter. The material is extremely thin so it takes some work to remove it from the plastic backing. Then once it's on your skin it stays put for as long as you leave it. I left my patch on for a little less than the maximum 8 hours, hoping it would help with my lower back pain. It didn't make a discernible difference in my pain level. It did almost nothing. However, now my back is burning and the skin is extremely tender from the nightmarish removal. I can't believe it peeled off my skin! It hurts to touch at all.No pain relief product should ever, EVER cause way more pain than it relieves. I will never use this patch again and I greatly regret purchasing it. Please heed my warnings! Especially if you have even slightly sensitive skin.My mom suffered as a result of this patch as well, which she used for her hip osteoarthritis. She told me she could not remove it and had to have my dad take it off for her. The removal caused her considerable pain, and she said it was itchy the whole time she wore it. She also could not get the patch off the plastic backing to begin with. Her fingers aren't super nimble but they're fully functional.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. OR TRY IT AT YOUR OWN RISK! It's so bad.

It's capsicum. It is from a pepper. Yes it is hot, but for someone like myself this us my miracle.
Yes, it's hot. I am allergic to lidocaine. So this is my ONLY solution that works. If you are heat sensitive this will burn. Go use lidocaine and numb it out instead. Do not throw salt on anyone's wounds because you can not stand the heat. Please be mindful, just because it's not for you for some people it is our only solution. If I could use lidocaine when out breaking out like I touched poison ivy, I would it took me year to find this. When other consumer say to run from a product because it bur s and its hot. The name is capsicum, like anything you put on your body read about it first. Try it out, don't use something and tell others to run. If you do not likenit and complain you are taking away simething other consumers value as there only other option. Stay with menthol, or lidocaine. In my mind it is more product for myself.
