Oregon 89-801 [346] Small Engine Detatcher Spring

For Oregon raking blade.Easy to fit,and the blade and these rakers work well, removing dead grass from an area not cut,previously,for over five years.Soon wear down,if hit with stones,and bit pricey,if using for heavy work.Last well raking moss,and domestic use.

I gave the product a three star because it fits the oregon scarifier - thats its good attribute.It is horrendously expensive (double the US price) for what it is and more often than not you will need both replacing at once.The spring doesnt last long under light use,even less if you are on unevenground.If you hit a hidden root or stone buried in the ground the springs wil break instantly.

The blade requires two springs. it would be very helpful if it was made clearer that these springs were sold separately. Had to order a second spring to complete the replacement.

Looks good bought as a spare.

These are spares for the Oregon scarifyer blade. A great item reviewed separately. I thought the springs would be susceptible to breaking but they are much tougher than I thought.

Very happy with the results but need to be tougher as they broke whenever lowered into THICK thatch and moss and great care was needed to slowly "creeping speed" feed mower into it to prevent them snapping but they did do an EXCELLENT JOB have purchased more for the next gardening job

Simple idea that works well, would highly recommend
